Actually if you want. I'll let you decide for yourself, if you choose to be not classified as one or another, allows me a bit more flexibility as I see advantages and disadvantages in all of them.

Really? Awesome!
Name: Szalas, The Geo-Master
Geo-mancer Cryptek
As a soldier on the battlefield, Szalas is without peer amongst his coven of geomancers, and is certainly a boon to whomever hires his services. His ability to shape the earth as he sees fit whenever he needs to is formidable, and enemies often find themselves suddenly traversing through a maze of rock and stone as they are cut down by withering gauss fire. As a fellow Necron, he is generally not to be trusted. When Drenzyk first appointed the sly Cryptek to his court, he was polite and seemed to follow orders as per usual. As time past, however, and more battles were fought, Szalas began to show his true colors. The wily Cryptek began to manipulate others to gain more of the spoils or to back-stab those who have slighted him in the least. To add insult to injury, he can find a way to pin the crime on someone else, usually through manipulation of recording devices and twisted lies, and at the very least is able to slip away. It's only a matter of time, though, before someone returns the favor...
So, what do you think? Obviously a transmogrification cryptek, probably with seismic crumble. Though, I suppose it's for your discretion to make him a different branch or not. Just be sure to keep the back-stabbing part intact.

"Damn it!" Roared Draza'kar in frustration, the Tau Firewarrior that had been able to escape the battlefield had called in for help, now they were looking at a sizeable assault force landing on Deimos.

"Pity them," said Drenzyk to Draza'kar, "for they are drowned in their own unjustified arrogance. Soon we will teach them that they hold no rightful place amongst the stars." Draza'kar looked at Drenzyk, swearing that if they were still of flesh, there would be a cruel smile playing upon the lips of Drenzyk.

"Yes, pity them," muttered Draza'kar to himself. He then turned to Drenzyk "I shall prepare for battle..." He saw Drenzyk holding a shiny metal object a... coin? Ah yes, now he remembered, they had stumbled upon Terra, then Earth eons ago and had witnessed this interesting habit of humans to make decisions based on chance of a coin toss, but why would they be needing to make a coin toss now?

Drenzyk seemed to pick up on Draza'kar's confusion, "Heads, I take the Command Barge and you take the retinue. Tails, you take the Barge, I take the retinue." If Drazakar could, he'd be smiling, despite the monstrous and atrocious personality of Drenzyk, he sometimes wasn't that bad of a lord, pity one day he'd have to kill him...

The Tau were ready this time, knowing full well of the threat that was present on this planet and after some orbital observations, realized that if they successfully claimed two points on Deimos, they would be able to establish a nigh irremovable presence. The Necrons, however, were just as aware of the importance of these positions if not more so, one of these points was a Planetary Shield Generator and the other was it's power source. Both the Overlords were angered that they had seemed to have forgotten this defense mechanism, now it was time to activate these, which had to be done manually, thus the battle began...

The Tau were now aware of the presence of the Necrons and had chosen a spot from which they would be able to use pathfinders to markerlight the Necron force from atop a Canyon wall. However, despite their vigilance, the Necrons still struck first announcing their presence with a mighty blast from Mor'tza's Doomsday Ark immediately incinerating a firewarrior of the Tau ethereal's honor guard and a broadside as the rest of the Necron force immediately began pounding forward closing the gap between the forces. Having been aware of the Tau's every move, a force of wraiths alongside the recently awoken destroyer lord Abasi moved up onto the ledge sneaking up upon the unsuspecting pathfinder force. With them was Kryptix leading four Immortals, prepared to reclaim the Planetary Shield Generator which the pathfinders were dangerously close to. The Tau began an immediate retaliation firing volumes upon volumes of fire especially on Overlord Draza'kar with his entourage of lords and Mor'tza. And failed to do an ounce of damage, even with the markerlights the Pathfinders were able to drop upon them. That would be the last the Tau would hear from their pathfinders.

Abasi alongside his wraith escort swept down upon the Pathfinders moments later, the pathfinder never knew what hit them and by the time they attempted to make a run for it, it was all too late. Meanwhile Kryptix successfully was able to run his squad of immortals to the Shield Generator reclaiming it for the glory of the Nekthyst Dynasty. Down in the Canyon, Mor'tza let out a cruel cackling laugh as he released another devastating shot from his Doomsday Cannon wiping out the remainder of of the squad of broadsides of which the first he had slain was a part of. Meanwhile, Mr. T alongside 5 wraiths pounced upon a squad of vespids, quickly wiping them out. The tombstalker, a behemoth of metal, swooped upon a squad of piranhas quickly wrecking one. Drenzyk, upon his CCB swooped over a squad of firewarriors, lopping off three heads as he did so. Landing in front of the Tau's railgun hammerhead, and obviously dizzy, Drenzyk fired a tachyon arrow only to miss. Pissed at his failure to accomplish the task of hitting the hammerhead from three feet away, he hacked at and obliterated the hammerhead. Admist the slaughter going on, Draza'kar with the lords and crypteks moved in closer while the Lychguard ran on in ahead, hellbent on destroying the Broadsides with their annoying fire. The secondary squad of Immortals managed to claim the power source. All was going well, the Lords could only laugh at the slaughter going on before them, soon they'd have the shields up and become impervious to the planetary assault force that was moving into orbit. Then, what could only be considered as an arrogant oversight, disaster came looming close.

The Tau had a force of mercenary kroot that had snuck onto the flank of the battle, and when the group of Immortals led by Kryptix was left vulnerable when taking the Shield Generator, they struck. Two Immortals fell, never to arise, Kryptix feeling what could be called scraps of brotherhood and rage viciously struck back, striking down a kroot carnivore. Suddenly, the Necrons had fallen into dire straits. If they did not get the generator up and running soon, the Tau would have a fighting chance at establishing a forward position. The rest of the Tau however had a relatively lackluster performance succeeding only in debilitating a single Wraith, wounding the Tomb Stalker twice, and blowing up Drenzyk's CCB, a grave insult to Drenzyk and an err on the part of the Ethereal with his honor guard who were set as next on Drenzyk's prey list. No one blew up the CCB and got away with it, NO ONE. Quickly Drenzyk moved alone into combat against the Ethereal and his honor guard and along with the use of his favored mindshackle scarabs, cut down nigh half of the honor guard. The fools held their place not knowing only certain death awaited them.

Draza'kar saw the predicament that Kryptix's squad was in and ordered the wraiths and Mr. T to move in a crush the Kroot quickly before all was lost. Mr. T with his wraith squad flawlessly executed their orders but not before two more Immortals were struck down and Kryptix had knocked down another kroot. As Mr. T and the wraiths most assuredly saved the Tomb world from an unacceptable predicament, Crypteks Anhur and Intef who were alongside Draza'kar fired their eldritch lances at the remaining Piranha and both successfully erased the Piranha from existence, then alongside Draza'kar and the other lords, pounced upon a foolhardy group of firewarriors. The firewarriors were thrown into chaos as the mindshackle scarabs did their work in getting former friends to strike out against each other and both of the crypteks were able to cut down a firewarrior each. The firewarriors all dead, Draza'kar turned his attention to the closest of the two remaining broadside squads.

Meanwhile, Abasi with his wraiths and the Tombstalker assaulted the two crisis commanders and their bodyguards. These were clearly inexperienced commanders compared to the commanders of the last encounter with the tau as they fell swiftly to the assault of these combat monsters. After quickly dispatching these pathetic excuses for commanders, Abasi moved in to kill the devilfish that had belong to the pathfinders and the Tombstalker made a frightful dash towards the broadsides. Mor'tza, never having had a reason to move, lazily fired a beautiful shot that took down two broadsides, one from each of the two remaining squads of broadsides. The battle was swiftly back in the hands of the Necrons. However, the Tau made a last desperate attempt to weaken the Necron force at the least.

The Tombstalker never made it to it's intended target as the squads of broadsides and the remaining hammerhead unleashed a vicious volley that destroyed the tombstalker. And in a brilliant manuever, the Tau forces outflanked yet again, this time with a stealth team who were able to marker light Mor'tza. Fortune smiled upon Mor'tza however, as his quantum shielding held up against 4 seeker missiles and two shots from the stealth team's fusion blasters. Grinning his skeletal smile, Mor'tza turned his doomsday cannon upon the unfortunate stealth team and erased them from existence.

The Broadsides that had killed the Tombstalker only traded one terrible demise for another as the Lychguard and Draza'kar with his entourage assaulted these remaining two squads. Though the broadsides fought valiantly, it was to no avail and they fell. Abasi, with his nihilistic fanaticism, cut down the pathfinder devilfish ripping into the cockpit and ripping apart the crew. Drenzyk, outnumbered still by the ethereal and his honor guard, taught the foolish tau that though he was alone in assaulting them, he was in no way outmatched, and mercilessly finished his slaughter of the ethereal. All that was left now was one hammerhead, and like specters of inevitable death, the Necrons swarmed towards it....

(At this point my opponent gave up)

The Necrons stopped at the sound of something charginging up, something huge, something... powerful. Turning their attention from the remaining hammerhead, they looked behind them to see the planetary shield generator pulse once, twice, then in a blinding flash of green light, released a massive blast of energy towards the sky, the shield was in place. Looking towards the sky the Necrons saw multiple explosions as the Tau spacecraft were caught in the massive wave of the released energy that wiped them out. The tau force was no more, all but one hammerhead. When they turned their attention to the hammerhead, they witnessed the crew quickly stumble out with their hands up. Utter and complete surrender.

"Take them down below," said Draza'kar to the crypteks Anhur and Intef, "I think they'll make a fine new cape for me."

Ahhhh yeah... I didn't have a Wraith that I could identify as you (like Kryptix has some simple green stuffing to identify hime from the rest of the Immortals) so it's just the wraiths. Don't worry, I will give you some sort of designation though.

Thousand Sons Battleship wandering the galaxy...

Thanks for the battle report. Really appreciate it.

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race. A mon-keigh. But still I broke off my wings so that I might carry him easier. I took him from that place, into the snowstorm where our tracks will not be found. He is heavy. And he is dying. And he is slowing me down. But I will save him. Why? I know not. He is still warm. I can feel his blood ebbing across me. For every beat of his heart, another, slight spill of heat. The heat blows away on the winter wind. His blood is still warm. But fading. And I have spilled scarlet myself. The snow laps greedily at our footsteps and our lifeblood, covering them without a trace as we fade away.

'She sat on the corner, gulping the soup down, uncaring of the heat of it. They had grown more watery as of late she noted, but she wasn't about to beggar food from the Imperials or the "Bearers of the Word." Tau, despite their faults at least didn't have a kill policy for her race.'
