Ive heard the colors should be red/blue/white and black. Though the weird part is, the places Ive read/watched all said 3 colors, but they vary from source to source from what I mentioned. Soooo either its actually 4 colors, or some mofos are getting it wrong
Iris the champ? Damn it. They prolly did that because she's Ash's new partner. So many ex-gym leaders(for Unova) that could have been cool Champs. Or hell just keep rocking with Alder. He was a BAMF. He could have been The Unova Lance. Except rocking and being a boss with a Volcarona instead of a Dnite.
Elesa probably would have been a cooler champion as well, I don't really remember there being an electric one. At least the annoying three from the first gym are gone, kind of got used to kicking Cheren's ass. The reward for doing it just keeps getting better.

Spoiler:
there are rumors that those three are the shadow trio. whether or not GF actually followed up with that is a different story, but it would make them a hell of a lot more interesting. the first gym battle with three gym leaders and in the games introducing triple and rotation battles, and all we get is "Oh you have Tepig, well I have a parpour. trololo." So much wasted potential there.

I'd heard that the US is getting red, blue and black; whereas Europe is getting red, blue and silver. A bit odd if true, I wish they'd stuck with the aqua version.
I think they stopped selling Aqua because its sales have been way down. Which I think its strange, because it was a launch color and was a super seller then. *shrugs* whatevers
So gang, I have finally gotten around to starting Resident Evil Revelations. Little backstory: my only experience with Resident Evil is playing the original game back on PS1 and then watching a friend go through the GameCube remake. Well, I also played a couple of hours of Resident Evil 4 but lost my copy. In any case, I'm more familiar with the low-ammo, puzzle-solving style of RE than the run'n'gun style. Revelations has both but the spotlight is definitely on the survival horror. The game is ridiculously good fun for someone like me with good memories of the first game. The controls are a bit wonky without a second stick but you can get used to it. More than anything, I am simply astounded by the graphics. If you have a 3DS, there is no reason to get this game.
Should pick up 2 and 3 then. 4 was the start of the run and gun feel of the series. Sadly it went in more of the action direction, sort of stopped following the series there.

Yea IVe got the demo, and definitely plan on getting it though. I agree, the graphics are just crazy nice, and on a gameboy no less! er.....3DS, 3!!DS!!
Well as said, Im a bit miffed, as I just bought my 3DS when the midnight purple came out. I asked THEN if they planned on having an XL (mainly because I need a bigger screen to focus on better) and was told Nintendo has said nothing. Now a month later, HEY WE ARE HAVING AN XL! YIPPIEE!!!!!!!............................... DAMMIT!
As good as MH4 looks, it'll probably never see a North American or European release. Capcom seems to hate the idea of bringing it over, no matter how much people ask for it (but they're more than happy to give us Lost Planet sequels nobody asked for).
You can see a lot of Dragon's Dogma in the MH4 trailers, and honestly, that's a good thing. I loved climbing on monsters and really traversing all the difficult terrain in Dogma, and it would transfer over wonderfully to MH. You can tell that Dogma was a test bed for concepts that would work their way into MH. But considering Capcom's outrageous and lofty expectations for Dogma, and how well it actually did... (it did okay, but Capcom lately doesn't think a game's worth it unless it has Call of Duty levels of sales, it seems) don't expect much hope for MH either.
It's a shame, because I bought my 3DS after seeing the original Japanese announcement trailer for MH4 (and now, knowing Capcom's attitude towards NA/EU, I regret that decision). If I didn't already have a 3DS, I would buy one just for MH4.
It's a real shame too, considering that there's really nothing even close to MH on the 3DS to begin with. The 3DS desperately needs expansions to its library (hell, having bought my 3DS around 4 months ago, I still only have two games for it, Tales of the Abyss, which sucks, and Resident Evil: Revelations), and MH4 would be such a huge boon for the system.

Agreed. I too think Nintendo needs to get its ass in gear and start pumping out some awesome games for the system. Ive only 1 game so far, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time, and although good, Im getting bored with it. Im really looking forward to super mario 2 and luigis mansion, but thats it for the rest of the year. Add to the fact that theres only a few older games I want to check out, so really 5 or 6 in total? Thats not very good at all. Ill be honest, sometimes I regret buying the system. Also, lets not forget the Nintendo shop games, theres only a handful that actually look good, the rest are either garbage or made for the DSi, which as a 3DS owner, I dont really give a gak about, I want something for MY system, not the hand me down I gave my son

Tales of the Abyss is pretty good if you like the Tales games.
I have about 5 games that are JUST for the 3DS.
Zelda, Star Fox, Kid Icarus, Mario Kart, and Tales of the Abyss. (and a ton of the core Pokemon games)
Out of all of those games, Only 2 were actually MADE for the 3ds (not remakes from other systems) And only one was not a Sequel we've seen on every Nintendo Console.
And No one agrees with me on the awesomeness of Kid Icarus. But two of them I know Johnny Yong Bosch did VA work for, so I guess that makes up for it.
I think things will start picking up when SSB3ds(or whatever they call it) comes out, but I can understand what KC is talking about. I remember buying the 3DS release day and playing pokemon on it for about 3-4 straight months until Zelda came out.

Genesect is Bug/Steel and it's signature move, Techno Blast changes type depending on one of four held items.
It was apparently made by Team Plasma, according to the Pokédex

The folks at Smogon have been playing with him for a while in the Dream World Meta. While his sounds like he should work like Scizor, but with Special Moves instead of Physical, He's pretty lackluster. I was really disappointed when I tried him out.

Yeah, but he is one of only two bug types who can fly- neither of which are flying-type...
