Thank you, they are not completely finished yet but our Policy is to allow as much convertibility as possible in our range, so no regiment will ever be produced from us as single/one-piece miniatures.
Your idea of the Araves Slaves being totally unarmed had not been mentioned before, although I can't see why you'd use them unarmed during a battle. Tying up one hand and leaving them swinging with the other is both a threat to the enemy and controllable by your own army. (edit: unless you are referring to making some of them totally unarmed for other uses like conversions/dioramas. Then yes, that's a great idea.)

Unfortunately the Araves faction according to our findings wasn't promising enough for us to launch them full range as starter, that's why the Orcs were chosen as a more popular race. We hope that with the support of the Community we will be able to complete the Araves too one day, almost all their artwork and most of the book has been finished anyway but for the time being has been put aside...

Sure, I'm not suggesting unarmed should be the only option, just that one kit that can make either armed or unarmed prisoners might have broader utility outside of an unusual regiment.

I would definitely spring for just the chariot cart, that would make for fantastic scenery, maybe not the mounts or riders but the cart alone looks fantastic.

Not half bad, way better than Mantic Orcs, I don't like the weird mouths though.

6/10, still aint up there with GWs though.

We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

And how many years has GW been at bit? I think these are exceptional for what is essentially an initial offering.

I can't wait to see what else these guys put out.

I've just put an order in for some of the orcs, looking forward to being able to build up a decent sized force for kings of war now I know there will be further orc releases I can use. Just realised I should have ordered the shaman aswell, guess he'll have to wait till my next order.

Ordered direct and the postage seems pretty reasonable, I'll have to see how quick they ship out.

Well I recieved my package from sheildwolf today! Pretty quick delivery considering we've just had a bank holiday weekend in the uk.( my dad an ex stamp collector was very interested in the stamps!)

The box was well packed and arrived in perfect condition. A quick look over the sprues and they look very nicely cast. I'll have to see if I can get a proper review put up later but all seems good so far.

We have finished the casting and have been packing for the past week. Painted versions are also almost finished and we'll be adding 360 views first week of June on our website page. When the Chariots are revealed they will be also ready to ship (reveal date=release date). As hobbyists and gamers we prefer it that way and find it amusing and unprofessional when companies reveal something that will however only be ready to ship after 3-5 months! Lol...

Here's a very small sample from one of our wheel versions, brought to our HQ to be inspected for a second time, cleaned up and packed. After that, it will be taken away to be stocked in our warehouse, waiting for it's new owners...

With the occasion I'd like to add that we believe to have produced the best looking wolves and boars in the market, therefore we have considered sculpting some riders to put atop (and not release wolf and boar packs with the mounts alone as initially planned). Once we finish sculpting our September releases, we'll have to jump right atop of that I guess...

Just wanted to chime in on the quality of these figures.

I ordered a box from FRP since they're pretty quick about shipping to me, and was not disappointed.

Liked these figures enough to go and order some GW savage orcs, and was a bit let down with GW's stuff in terms of poses (everyone has their hand up in the air like they just don't care).

My only real niggle is the lack of detail on the ears. Nothing a knife and some paint variations can't cure.

Thinking I'll order some of those resin lizard types next. Any chance we'll see sprues of lizards at some point (probably quite a while from now) in the future?

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Glad you liked the minis and quality

We have more plans than we can deal with, although we have produced a lot of stuff in a very short while, we need to speed up our production. We have adapted a lot and seen what the market mostly needs. Our initial plan was to have at least one release every month, and we did manage to do that for a time but it was too stressfull and we risked -more than once- to get derailed. Thankfully we have not failed once to deliver what we have announced
We will keep on releasing our miniatures in "waves", just like we did with the "Charging Forest" which was released today. Now, it's the turn of the Kingdom of Talliareum (Humans)
As for the sprues of lizards, ours is more of a Dragon race and lizards are more of skirmish units supplied to them. The "serious" fighting will be done by them however. As for plastic sprue tooling for all our races, we will probably be able to answer that question after this Summer.

Furthermore from April 29, Shieldwolf Policy changed and we are going to interact directly with the public. We have the vision, the dedication, the facilities and the manpower to do what we have planned to. To our knowledge we were the first to produce a barbarian army line in 28mm heroic scale and to have sculpted army minis for the Araves race (arabic). For a new company we find that both daring and innovative.
"Shieldwolf:War is coming" is an army game and we will need a lot of minis to see this accomplished. With some luck and the Communitys' trust, we will keep on bringing more and more miniatures to life while keeping our prices as low/reasonable as possible.

Thank you all

Sounds great Shieldwolf!

Looking forward to seeing what you guys have in store for us.

Glad to hear your reptile faction is more dragon than lizard. Will keep my eyes peeled for more!

Nice wolfpack! Are they the same models as the chariot wolves?

I haven't had a chance to do anything with my Mountain Orcs yet, aside from admire them on the sprue - work has gotten way too busy in the last couple of months, and of the 9 other fantasy units in the queue in front of them that I'd planned to have completed by this time, I've only finished two of them...

Yes, they are the same. From what we know of they are bulkier than any other wolf we have gotten our hands on, but still fit very nicely on their 25x50mm bases.

PS. We received some pm's on our FB page to enlarge the 360 version, so we have almost doubled it now. Hope you enjoy these as much as we have :-)
