Having counted the literally Nundreds of votes? Settled on the MkIII Inductii squad.

Which is now half built. MkIII kit is an improvement on the MkVI, thanks to slightly more pronounced lug and socket for the arms. Makes the weaponing much easier.



Full of curry now, so did a second shift. Squad now fully built.

Lighter duties today. Got the Inductii undercoated.

Once dried I’ll get the booth packed away, and maybe get the pre-highlight drybrush done. If the hobby bears down, could even begin the Grim Black.

Hmm. Not going to declare this a Hobby Frenzy, or even a Minor Hobby Rampage.

But I am now two days ahead on these lads. Built, undercoated, zenithal drybrush and Grim Black stages all done.

Tomorrow I break out a shiny new detail brush, and start on all that trim, plus other gun metal spot colours. However, friend’s birthday tomorrow so expecting only modest progress. Reckon I’ll have them painted and based by end of play Sunday.

Wait. Revisited quickly. Wasn’t happy with the balance of the colours, so right knee pad (a detail not on the MkVI) also redded. Plus a smidge of tidy up here and there.
