Brian, I am not even being silly about noise marines that play "Down with the sickness" and I truly believe those caps are gonna be awesome somewhere on one of my warlords..... Silver, I NEVER plan anything.... I have built very detailed warhounds in under two weeks with no plans and not really knowing what I was doing having worked eight hours a day and I am taking thirty days leave soon..... A warlord may fill some empty time in my schedule after the mass build is done...... Hopefully before the end of the first week of May....... Rogue, sic balls, boy...... Sit, booboo, sit. Good dog...... Automatically Appended Next Post: But enough of that gak.... Onto the update. this is a very intense riveting job....   Ok, so the port front side and the canopy are all I have energy for for now. It will be riveted by the end of this week and then the final details will go on. Have to finish the remodel of the interior and the flight stand plus some other minor stuff. Maybe done before the end of the week. Have decided that I am not going to put extended landing gear on it. I do not believe with it's weight and the length they would require that they can be made in any kind of sturdy enough fashion to warrant wasting the effort, materials and time on. The will be modeled as if the are retracted and the flight stand will be able to sit at 1 inch or twelve inches off the table. Or does it need to be higher? Thoughts? C&C, please..... Automatically Appended Next Post: No, spankers, I DO NOT know how many rivets there are already. Nor will I have a count when it is completed. Sorry if that seems harsh but my sons have collectively waged war on my sanity trying to get me to count them. Automatically Appended Next Post: Any takers on which one of them ends up punished with having to count the rivets??? They are 13, 16 and 18. My odds are on the 16 year old..... Gentlemen, place your bets.....

I finally got some time to look around........ I'm subscribed to this thread why don't I get email notifications? This is a great idea, a catch all thread That way you don't have to keep track of all your topics. Fantastic T'hawk BTW and lighted to boot. I use to use photobucket years ago but I kept exceeding the bandwith, have they cured that problem now? Milk bottle top from McD great cap (what product, hope it's not a kid's meal?)

I think that your right to not do the landing gear extended.
The Hawk looks rather heavy and it seems like it would be a pain to make the landing gear...

Thanks all. I hate carrots. I don't mind a whipping on occasion..... I am thinking exhaust fan shroud with a grill over it or an atmospheric maneuvering thruster for a large drop ship type vehicle (like Tebrey used on his drop ship) for the milk bottle tops. And, yes, they are from the kids milk bottle but you can buy the milk bottles seperatley. No Happy meals for you, Black...... LOL I personally had no problem whatsoever going to McD's and buying a half dozen bottles of milk, Drinking them all and then taking my Lactose intolerant butt to Friday Night Magic... If you can't win with force, gas your opponents out I say...... Photobucket apparantly has fixed themselves, as I haven't had a problem...... And I have thousands of images up there. The Damned Articifer gets his scratch builds on the front page, Mine never show up.... I am considering moving the whole fam damily of photos to the Gallery. Yes, eternity.... That's how long things with rivets last..... Incidentally, that's how long it takes to put them on, it seems.... And that ^^ is called a Fast. It was a free giveaway when you bought the 2008 Volkswagon GTI..... You can get them on Ebay for about 20 to 40 bucks and they are the size of a softball........... Back to the rivet bench.......... Ok, it's on. I will say this. On top of the front port winglet alone are 36 rivets. Use that as a basis to make your guess. i will tabulate the guess and post a closest to/correct guess along with a list of peoples guess and the correct amount.
