Well to be honest, I am GLAD I am moving cause of those people who'd competely ignored the rules in Suburbia as well. The basements, the towers and the mazes. I like the fence maze, but just most of the stuff around there is just getting silly.

I've got a nice home base as well, far away from anyone anywhere, and with a nice large dungeon area - like 4 or 5 mobs spawners...

Fair enough I guess, the random cow I found in my suburbia house basically owns the place now anyway.

Only problem is that its like 3 minecraft days hike from anywhere lol. Good thing I always set up my hidden waypoints. If you find caves with beds in them, please don't destroy the bed.

Which annoys me, because I am mayor and the zoning ordinance enforcer. If there is a problem, they should talk to me. If they don't talk to me, they can go feth themselves-- THEY are violating the rules. Harassing other citizens of Suburbia is against the rules of Suburbia. Same applies to Doctadeth's complaints-- if there are new violations, he should tell me about them.

Also, i'm not breaking any rules of anything... My buildings were there first and everyone else built around them and i can't change them due to my being banned from the server, however i have a trick up my sleeve that will allow to me to come along and rectify this

Actually, if we're going to play the "I Was Here First Game", then I would be the winner of the first place title. Not that I really care. I think the Suburbia project is pretty cool.

I will be on one day when i find out how to connect my villages so that I can have several function villages. any way of building a working place? If not I will build a mob spawner. Its not ugly but very useful.

So time to build one and then you guys can check it out.

In the act of getting banned from the MC server, you gave up all rights to anything on the MC server, especially in Suburbia, where I am mayor (Darkinnit can feel free to contradict me on things outside of Suburbia if he wants). Now, I would discourage people from actively attacking you and mocking you, just because it's rude and that's not the atmosphere I want. But I also don't want them to have to put up with being antagonized, either.

But you have pretty much stated to my face that you don't care about my opinions, or what I do how I do it. I accomodated you initially, even BURNING DOWN my treehouse because it was *shoddy*.

Ok so a couple of questions, is there a good town or something to set up shop for a while until I find a plot of land that I like? Doesn't need to be big, just large enough for a basic house to store supplies in while I prepare for my trek when I inevitably find a suitable spot.

And also, it's been ages since I've played minecraft, so forgive me if my building looks kind of plain or crummy for a while, there's a lot of new stuff I'm still figuring out.

That's what Suburbia is for in a way. Though I think it could use a hotel or something. Hinting as I won't be building, though I would help.

Talking of another topic. I found a mod that accentuates redstone rarity to like a third of the normal distribution and makes it a lot harder to mine. One of my aussie friends has made a nice server (private) with a few mods on it, including the rarestone mod, and another that adds an ore slightly better than iron. Diamonds are also incredibly rare on the server.

Its a challenge, which is what I like.

Mr Moustaffa, our server isn't so much of a 'town' server. We're more a loose conglomoration of personal and community projects. Suburbia is about as close to a community town as you're going to get- but if you feel fantasy-y, there's a Dwarven undercity, an Elven Tree city, and a High Elven Floating city all nearby each other.

Or you could attempt to be the first person to set up shop and live primarily in the Nether. We have extensive Nether systems, but mostly use them for travel.

Am I allowed to "claim" a tract of land in the nether? I have no idea if you can farm/ craft normal things there, but it would be fun to set up a netherfort and travel tunnels to protect people using it as a quick travel system. It'd be a while before I would be ready to start a project like that though.

In the meantime, where is the dorf city and or suburbia? I may try helping them out for a bit or something in the meantime until I'm ready for my own project

Have you been to the Nether yet? You'll need to hold onto your eyes.

The only problem with living in the Nether is that you can't place down water except in Cauldrons, so no endless springs, and no wheat, melon or pumpkin farms. But you can farm mushrooms and Netherwart, and if you can figure out how to get animals there, you'd be able to farm them (with wheat grown via bonemeal)

Best way to get to the Dwarf city is to go through the Spawn Nether Portal and head towards Absolutionist's portal- there's a path then to the Dwarven city's portal.

Suburbia is somewhere near spawn.
