Great looking units Those are nice sculpts, solid anatomy compared to the old Dub plastics in particular.

Thanks! After a rainy weekend prevented more things being moved between house and garden room, I actually got some time to do some painting and basing done for the Ostermark units.

Thank you!

Apparently I mis-scaled them, so they are going to be a bit bigger than the GW plastics, but not by too much (scaled to 90%, rather than 88). It's not noticeable unless you're doing an actual side by side comparison. For the Empire stuff, that's not going to be a massive issue as the plan is to be mostly 3d printed anyway.

When it comes to their new Goblins though... those will want to be more suitably sized as I already have quite a few Night Goblins to mix them with.

I've not really had any painting mojo recently, but have fallen quite hard for Marvel United as a game. I think I've now played more games of this than anything else in quite a long time; possibly because it's a simple setup and simple ruleset that can be completed during a lunch break. That and the figures are really nice. I'm still unsure why I never backed the first to kickstarters, and am annoyed with myself as there are now sets that I just can't get hold of... thankfully with the exception of Days of Future Past, most of those are low on my priority villains/heroes. Having said that, I did manage to find a bunch of the figures that have been broken out of the main set, for far less than other people are selling the complete set for.

This has sparked the desire to do some painting, so over the last week I've managed to get a few bits and pieces painted and some shelving put up to showcase everything nicely, though they look a lot smoother in person... so clearly my eyes are more forgiving than the camera!

Props on painting your Marvel chibis, they look great! I doubt I'll ever paint my X-Men United KS but I do really enjoy playing it. I appreciate how hard it is and how much it rewards team play. Ended up doing the latest KS too purely for Gen X

Mostly, on my phone.

I'm with Boss Salvage, I'll never paint it, but because I am not a fan of chibi, but the kids love the game so we play it a fair bit. Yours look fab, especially your X-Force Hero Deadpool.

Thanks! I decided that the sword wielding Deadpool was cooler than missile launcher Deadpool for the hero version... even thought he's standing on the bodies of all the other heroes... so X-Force seemed a nice distinction so there weren't just three red-pools

[update]I'll get my coat...

Think I prefer the chibi supers to the realistic ones. Guess it matters not at all for game play. But they look so cute! Great job on the painting.
