Well, I find large Chaos Knights and Marauder Horsemen boxes superfluous. But it may help GW to further optimize logistics.

What I want to see is 40k rules for Chaos Knights, Marauder Horsemen and the like. Fluffwise they could be considered as Chaos exodites.

So you want to destroy 40k by infecting it with the same disease that killed WFB?

They could do a Codex: Stormcast Eternals and then release 8th ed with a new psychic discipline that lets you summon them. Stormcastrology. Xenos and Chaos peril on all doubles. Release a new starter with Space Marines vs Stormcast Eternals that tells the story of the Imperium's first encounter with these newest manifestations of the Space Emporer's awesomeness. They fight at first but by the end of the campaign the Space Marines and Stormcast Eternals earn each other's respect and become battle brothers against Chaos!

Has anyone crunched the numbers to see how much we actually save with this repackaging? Seems like most dropped in price?

I have for Canadian dollars but not sure about other currencies. I forget if they Chaos Knights were $40 CAD or $35 CAD for 5 before but I think it was $40. So Chaos Warriors, Chaos Knights, Marauders, Marauder Horsemen all got a price per model drop, and the Lord Heldrath package is about 31% off in CAD.

HAHAHAHA , too funny Kirasu

wuestenfux why not just make your own rules, back in the day it was encouraged for players to expand rules and make custom models.

Good idea. Nobody seems to like Chaos exodites. But they clearly exist in the 40k universe.

It's not unbelievable that they package the Finecast parts in. The Kaptin Badrukk and Vulcha Boyz boxes for Orks last year both included Finecast components(Badrukk and Ammo Runts for Badrukk's Flash Gitz boxed set and Zagstruk for the Vulcha Boyz box) so there is precedent.

Except they would be including 23e worth of upgrades(leaving you with 6 guys that can't be armed with same weapon as rest of the guys) or 46e with 4 halberds and 4 GW's spare. In box that costs 35e.

That would be quite a deal from GW. And one would assume there would be at least one picture of model with such a weapon?

Smells more like mistake in description. If true though that's pretty damn good value box for a GW product.

Those tables have got plenty of terrain on them. I know it's cheap for GW but it's also an indication to players about the need for fairly dense tables.

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

They added Khorne daemonic elements to the jawline and modified the forehead from armour to horns, but the shoulders are the same armour plate just with more detail added and the eyes, nose, mouth, and tongue are clearly the same sculpt.

Ah dang, comparing that pic to the new one, that really is obviously the same face. And most chaos dwarf players were hoping the K'daii was being reworked for us! With the skull additions, this looks more Khorne-like now...
