It’s honestly way easier than the horde!

However, we have to do the Great Backpack Swap first.

I recently picked up a pile of Blood Angels characters, but they didn’t feel very Flesh Tearer and had some bits I wanted to use elsewhere. What to do?

First: introducing my kitbashed Sanguinary Guard:



They’re gonna be hanging with Dante most of the time, so clearly his back pack has to match, yes?



Where is his old back pack going? Astorath, who most of the time will be running with Jump Pack Death Company, and so should have a similar backpack:



And where does the big winged jump pack go? Why, a kitbashed Sanguinor based on Bayard’s Revenge, of course (including with Blood Angel pauldrons)

Thanks gobert! He will be staying in white armour, as will the rest of the Sanguinary Guard. However, there may be some blood splatters, because they do still Tear Flesh...

Screamer-Killer is still on hiatus, as I've started prepping for a small mini-narrative Crusade here.

Leader of my Crusade force is Captain Unen, whose Gravis Armour will allow him to get some nice free strats on my Aggressors (because S10 power fists with +1 to wound on the charge is niiiiiice)




Arms are fully magnetized for all 3 weapon loadouts. Haven't decided yet whether to go with a chainsword or a power fist on him for the Crusade.

That is a tasty red on that cloak.

Glad to hear that Dante and the Sang Guard will be staying white, with Blood Splatter is even better. Nice job on the Captain so far too. Love that Red!

Thanks gobert! The stream of cases is actually stock on the model, surprisingly. Which means there's really no choice but to add a muzzle flash!

Black is done, so the main armour is left. Next we get to just fly through the details. It's always hardest for me psychologically to get the armour done, the details are the fun part!

This guy isn't as clean as my last few Flesh Tearer units, not sure if I lost my touch... But I am very happy with the cloak!
