A valid point. However, if the rumour/speculation that there's "beginner" sets coming for Heresy, then I could see them doing a beginners painting set like this or this. Both have a single sprue of unique push fit minis (both of which got used for early issues of Imperium) that would be ideal for an AoD partworks.

If there are push fit Heresy models coming, they wouldn't be being sold off cheap in a partwork until years after release.

Conquest was only a year after 8th Ed launched and contained all the push fit minis from the various starter sets. Imperium was the same with the contents of Indomitus at it's core and the AoS mag was even quicker (6 months or so). So to say that we would never see any new Push Fit models in a part work in 'years' is not backed by precedent.

Monolith.
Immolator.
Skorpius.
Electro Priests.
Imperial Guard? It is Imperium after all.
Let the speculation commence.
I'm waiting to see if there will be a subscriber's Silver Templars set style offer.

If it is, I wonder if it'll be available to Australia/New Zealand. We dibbed out on the premium subscription due to the fact they don't stock the chaos marine units anymore. Which rather then replacing them with something else, they just went feth it, no extra goodies for them.
And thanks by the way, this reminded me to cancel the extra binders. Not paying $20 for a binder I can get for a few quid down at the local officeworks.

Issue 15 went up for sale in Oz yesterday. Could only get 1. But they did restock all the others, so got the one with the flamer Aggressors as well.

I normally get two binders for keeping the fluff pages. Once built and painted, those sections go to recycling.
I did pick up an extra two Conquest folders when everything went half price when Hachette did a clearance. I keep WD articles in those.
The FAQs for the US sub make it clear that the folders are part of the sub and customers cannot opt out.

The latest issues are up on Forbidden Planet, it's the Phobos Marines and the Necron Deathmarks.
I imagine that these will sell pretty quickly, so if you want them, now's the time!

Fauxhammer Blog. Been in the works for a while it seems but they were asked to sit on it because of something to do with the Stormbringer trial fiasco.

Huh, well I guess we'll see. It'd be great to get the Indomitus Marine character sprue but that might be hoping a bit too much given the insane amount GW sells it for.
Otherwise maybe one of the Primaris tanks?

New guard stuff definitely seems off the table.
Maybe some of the old stuff could be in there.
Definitely could have some plain stuff mixed in there (Warriors, or more Immortals or something etc).
But yeah as mentioned above could getstuff along the lines of the Monolith.

I just ordered a couple of copies from forbidden planet, not used them before, what are the chances of me actually getting them or do they cancel if stock doesn’t keep up with orders quite often? Folk 9n here seem quite experienced in this.

Yeah like 99% all will be well.
Just cancelled orders when stuff is gone gone. Very unlikely with the magazine run stuff

I mentioned the Monolith as a conversation starter but I'm not convinced it could be a reality.
The most expensive model in Conquest was the Repulsor spread over four issues.
Then again, Imperium has given us the £70 Necron Court as a one shot!
For Andykp, make me a third who has never had a problem with all the separate issues I've ordered from Forbidden Planet for both Conquest and Imperium.

My wild guess as to what would be in the last 10 issues are
Doom scythe (2 issues)
Chaplain on bike (2 issues)
Crane and servohaulers (2 issues)
An artificer brush (1 issue)
Same paints (2 issues)
not sure about the final (contents not issue), maybe a tech marine, or maybe something unexpected like a novel.
|
Approx armies
9000pts AdMech (Main army)
7000pts Black Templars (original army)
3500pts Death Guard (lazy side project)
2000pts Imperial Knights (extension of AdMech)
2000pts Harlequins (fun side project)

It’s not paints 100%.
The brush I doubt also really.
Weight wise I really don’t see a book. Also different arm of GW so the deal probably doesn’t cover such things anyway.
But yeah another terrain issue or two.

Conquest had a separate subscriber only Silver Templars novella which ended up available on the main website like the Silver Templars paint set did. Imperium subbers have already had the option of a two book novella set.

If the issue was in stock when you ordered you should be fine. If you are preordering certain issues its going to be dependent on how much stock of that issue they get. Issue 15 with the Flayed Ones in particular was one that loads of people had issues preordering.

It did. Which 100% wasn’t in an issue. So I’d say irrelevant to the What’s in the issues query
