Those are control sticks that go in the cockpit, I do believe.

Cheers Whale but figured it out. They're the control sticks for the moderati if you choose not to put in the princeps and moderati - you get an empty control throne and control sticks.
Still no magnets so am gonna start with the internal painting maybe next week

Cheers. Freehand advice ....... hmm ... very thin paint, Windsor & newton #1 brush, brace ur hands, take your time !!

Oh and draw ur design out on paper a few times first

The Engineseer/Tech-Priest is coming along great. It looks like you are upping your game with the highlights on the cloak. The light falls very naturally onto them. Looks great Jan!

Photo time! Despite feeling crook all day and having to cancel streaming, distracted myself with getting some paint down. The warhound cockpit and Princeps Baudolino are now finished. Just need to finish up the moderati and can fit them in properly. Level of detail is both a joy and a royal pain in the arse!!

Gorgeous detailing on the cockpit Jan. Love the flaking paint on the rear section.

It's funny how the colour you've chosen for his robes seems to make him look more "real". To clarify - a lot of our hobby is coloured for the sci-fi edge which is often a little garish. You've done a great job here if picking a tone that is very in keeping with the German officers of the Eastern front from the Second World War mixed with the armour of a decade earlier. Your colour choice is one of your greatest talents
