Rumours of my demise have been greatly exaggerated I've just been extremely busy for multiple side projects of late but I've managed to find a bit of time to paint my first forge father forge guard, hopefully the rest will be easier now i have a colour scheme in mind.

A group of Rebs end up going head to head with a lone forge father in the mountains..... "Dont you know who I am?....."

Yep, that's a cool forge guard, I need to get 'round to painting my set.

Cheers, I figured that since the forge fathers are dwarves and excel at mining i figured a scheme that was very heavy on metallics would be more fitting

I have one Forge Guard assembled, but I haven't been able to think of a good color scheme for it. I may just have to steal yours.

Now showing Catachan Jungle Fighters and World War zombies!

Painting total as of 30th November 2025: 136 plus a Deva King statue

Painting total as of 12/31/2024: 107 plus a set of modular spaceship terrain and two walkers and a quad mech and five giants

yeah I really struggled with the paint scheme there is quite a few areas on the Forge guard that don't seem to make sense or flow smoothly from one part of the model to another so it was difficult to see what some things actually were, (I still don't know what some of the accessories or armour plates are) but if you want to use my colour palette go ahead.

Jealous of your Forge Guard, Jay - it'll be an age before I get to mine. Great terrain, too.

My first Enforcer is done - I am really pleased with how the camouflage worked out:

Wow that is a fantastic scheme The camo is excellent and the two bits of spot color are inspired. That's just fancy

Wow. That camo turned out spectacularly.

Sergeant is done:

Going to take a wee break and paint some other bits as the camo is quite annoying to paint, but when I get back to it I have a Peacekeeper lined up to be the next Enforcer painted.

It's a shame that the scheme is a pain to paint.. cause it looks awesome

That looks really convincing, and I don't often say that about camo power armour.

Loving those, Paradigm! "Starque" looks familiar, but I can't quite place it

I've now finished my first Peacekeeper:

I actually like the Peacekeepers more than the Enforcers. Really nice job there, Slinky

foenix, I really like those enforcer colors. That scheme looks like something I would expect of professional soldiers.

Slinky, That strider is just striking.
