I am away from my books for the next few days. I was just wondering if Lysander's special rule would work with Grey Knights Terminators?

That is exactly what I mean. If GK were attached to a Lysander wing, could they all teleport together?

i dont think so.. only because unless it says that allied troops gain the benfits of the host or main chapter then they wouldnt get his teleport ability

By RAW, I believe they do. Lysander's rules specify Terminators, and unless you're going to argue that Grey Knight Terminators aren't Terminators, they get to come in with Lysander.
Of course, the real question is "why would you?" Every squad of grey knights means two less assault cannons. While I love my psycannons, I'd swap them for assault cannons in a heartbeat.

It adds some normal-init, S6 CC power to the army, though.

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.

The whole point of the drop pod termies/lysander wing is fitting as much assault cannons into the army at the least cost, and GK termies dont fit that. I could be wrong

But don't forget that GK Terminators cannot always deepstrike. They only deepstrike if the mission allows it per the idiot wargear book.

Do you actually have a rule somewhere that says allied troops can never benefit from something in the parent army? That sounds like an assumption to me.

Grey Knight terminators have the always teleport rule do to being a grey knight terminator. They don't use the terminator armor wargear.
