Well, if I lived anywhere near TX, I'd go - but it's a long way from Chicago....

I use too go too chicago all the time from Tx. its only a 14 hour drive . From denton too Chicago, Its only a hour away from the texas/OK border on I-35E

I might actually get to make that this year. Maybe. The family have all migrated from Louisiana to various parts of Texas (well, immediate family, always had extended reletives in Tejas), with several in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and I it looks like I'll be heading to Shreveport in the very near future.

Denton, TX, by the way, is effectively a northern suburb of Dallas these days and (my guess) no more than 30-40 minutes from D/FW Airport.


edit: Do note that they have not updated that site since the May 2006 Reapercon. My guess is the 2007 will be held around the same time? I don't know...
