So had to cancel my game against leadlegion at the last minute. I swear to/by/at god, my family is determined to have crises on the one night I try to game. Seriously, why does the world end always on Tuesdays?

Humph. And indeed, harrumph.

I suppose this does mean I can get them finished for 2 weeks' time, when I'm hoping to reschedule for. Along with building 2 more psycannon purifiers, as I think I want to run 6.

This raises, incidentally, an interesting question: if your opponent pulled out a FW psycannon razorback, would you accept that as count-as a rhino with 2 psycannon toting PAGK? It would of course be modular, just I think a nice visual representation. But, feel free to disagree - I'd like your views before I buy / build one.

Damn and blast, missed your 'we had to cancel' comment and ive been waiting to hear the results of the game....DAMN! *throws toys out of pram*...

Nevermind graven, its a fact of life that friends/family will always come up wth some sort of excuse to mess up pre-arranged plans, better to be spontaneous good luck for the game in a couple of weeks then!

I cant see why anyone would have a problem with you using a turret instead of putting the two guys on top of the rhino to mark that they can fire from it....think of it as a turret with no remote controls for the driver (therefore needs passengers to operate)

Also, forgot to mention the model. Awesome model, slightly weird face....

As an addendum, the last couple of days have been pretty shoddy: family incident was unfortunate, and then I've been completely shafted by my boss over something which I'm swearily angry about (which is not remotely in my nature). It's also my birthday over the weekend, and the wife's family are being most unhelpful which, considering that I will be feeding the whole damn lot of them on the day itself ticks me off. That, and the wife is in turbo cake mode, so I lost father's day to being helper monkey, and all afternoon/evening (which also = hyper, stroppy kids from basically being ignored all day).

Thanks guys. Sorry for being a whinge.
I'm actually really looking forward to the weekend, despite the wet weather (seriously, I'm breaking out my ark here): planning a jaunt to GW to look at 6th hoopla during the day, maybe some general shopping in town. Also,have asked my eldest (4 1/2) where thinks would be nice to go for "a special dinner" (I feared the worst tbh!) and he said "the special burger place with the fountain" (Handmade Burger Co, which is exactly what it says on the tin), so it'll be tasty, tasty dead animal and home to watch The Muppets on blu-ray. Rock and roll eh?!
Then invasion of wife's family on Sunday for the day itself, which is actually fine, and sorting out huge bag o' geek for Monday, when I plan on spending the day doing P&M with the Asperger's kids in our school, many of whom are very into their GW. Oh, and beer and socialising Tuesday, followed by end of term Weds, which isn't too shabby.
As for the summer, I'm going to try (try!) to paint up the remainder of my GKs. Watch as I get distracted...

I can only imagine how bad your weather is up there, its bad enough the rest of the time. I mean, im in the South and im wearing a coat in June for God's sake...a COAT!! That actually sounds like a pretty terrific plan there graven. I hope you enjoy it!

I'll be finishing up the 3rd grot tank (which will give me a full squad of rokkit buggies!), going fishing with my youngest & finally getting our boat on the water... and perhaps sneaking a game in at the local shop. Gotta take those daddy-child moments whenever you can get them mate, they don't last forever.
