Feth that. They need to fix the current legion traits first, then do the renegades.

I could definitely see Bile working with the Death Guard, as they are keen on mutations and "improving" on forms of life with their "gifts". Of course Bile may have nothing to do with pa and be released separately or after pa ends.

Nah. It's definitely the title of a PA book.

Yeah, just rewatched the preview. My bad.

I'd honestly rather have access to Stolen bolters and Equipment then full on csm primaris.
But maybee we are trading to much into that.

Edit: autocorrect is suffering.

Spider is Fabius' nickname from the Heresy novels.

Not sure if it goes beyond that.

Not sure what Spider-theme Dark Eldar would have (though they certainly got one of the short sticks of PA with zero new WL-traits, stratagems, etc..). Craftworld Warpspiders would perhaps be the complement.

So do venomcrawlers and defielers to a degree as does Fabius. One of These still needs a seperate release, the other just a General overhaul.

The Inquisition aswell technically no?

fabius in my mind from a fluff perspective is more likely to use primaris geneseed to craft something other than 'primaris chaos marines'. Think hes into making augmented humans that are space marine assassins, kinda perfect humans etc.

will be interesting, hopefully they'll expand his tinkering with your army rule to make awesome cultists or something.

come to think off it, this with bile would be an opportune moment to release a chosen/ possessed combkit?

So this was tossed around a week or so before GAMA.

9E at AdeptiCon. Focus switching to new armies ala AoS, rather than constantly updating old ones.
Lost and the Damned, Exodites and Dark Mech are touted as amongst the first wave.

[..]

The final Psychic Awakening will be announced soon, and focus on Emperor's Children vs. Eldar,
bringing Fabius Bile (plus friends!) and the eponymous Warp Spiders out in plastic.

Well impressed with Ragnar and Ghaz- brilliant sculpts, I don't collect either faction but I'm pretty fond of both characters and these are really good renewals, would love to get my Space Wolf buddy the new Ragnar. I've said it before but I'm really looking forward to GW taking this approach to a new Nid clam pack model - a new Death Leaper would be excellent and I would be disappointed if he wasn't leaping off/lurking on a random bit of building..

Yeah the little I know about Fabius he's more likely to subvert them into something else rather than a straight Primaris copy.

Lol.

Great to see people making Fabius Bile / Warpspider rumours a day after the Fabius Bile / War of the Spider reveal.

Had this come out 2-3 days ago, it would've looked like a serious rumour instead of throwing darts based on what we got, lol.

Yeah. With the cross-bones behind the skull, it's the deathwatch logo (instead of inquisition, which is just skull infront of the "I" without the crossbones). Though a re-print of the White Dwarf Inquisition rules would certainly fit right in there.

Well basically Bile can produce all the necessary organs to craft new space marines (which makes him very popular) but these marines are very prone to mutate and/or get possesed.

The first two books take place before m37 where he goes to study under the Haemonculi in Commoragh. Presumably there in the 3rd book he’ll perfect his cloning techniques and remove the blight.

Ding ding ding, also Bile is not just a geneticist. Bile built the injector, a part technical part quote magical live sustaining system.

Further the whole new man schtick of normal humans becoming strong enough to atleast in packs kill astartes reeks of atleast partial possession to actually make the body capable of the needed mutation to achieve the necessary mass muscles and durability for such a task.

Well that works for possessed, but chosen aren't "new". They've always supposed to have been the most veteran of veterans. Like, still remember hacking Salamanders and Raven Guard to death on Isstvan V veteran.

But considering what gw does with the lore nowadays *shrug*. Guess they're just mutants now.

This model looks, from the plugs, to be a Marine. Perhaps Primaris, as he looks quite bulky too?

Good call, perhaps we'll be getting a three-mini set then, with another flunky carrying a big beaker of Chaos-juice.

The original Fabius is one of the best Jes Goodwin Chaos sculpts, so GW has some pretty big shoes to fill with a redesign.

Of course the new Ghaz' model is actually bigger than the old battlewagon it seems.

Someone really needs to put Old Ghaz on new Ghaz's base and play him.

Or use them both with Old Ghaz as Force Ghost guiding new Ghaz.

But where's my new Yarrick

Wonder when we'll see some rules leaks from Saga of the Beast. I'd really like to see Ghaz's stats, and whether or not he has any interactions with Makari.

I like that they're like Call of Duty Modern Tacticool Commandos being lead by a weird space barbarian.

In any other game, this unit grouping would look like absolute nonsense.

I already do this. Old Ghaz has been Ghaz in every game I've played him.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! It seems a little anticlimactic to have a space yiff fight Ghaz. Poor Yarrick.

Ghaz is fine, but I think making the claws actual claw shaped instead of just slabs of sharp metal takes away from the savagery of ork designs.

Ragnar is.
