It's the corporations man...they are soo far out in left field dreamland, they operate without regard for customers period..everywhere. Today I got a bill from the car loan bank for $19.88..and said nothng but "Other Fees"...WTF?..I called and asked if it is cool that I print up some invoices for "Other fees" and randomly mail them out to people too, hoping someone will just pay it??

It seems that once a business or corporation expands past a certain size, it becomes impossible for them to exist anywhere but deep in left field dreamland. It's quite easy for a mom and pop store to get to know their customer base on a personal level, but once a business takes on more employees and customers, the likelihood of any real contact is reduced to near zero. Not that this makes it ok for some detached executive to figure that it's all right to take the servers down on launch day and then to not be able to provide enough servers for the player base (and then require the players to use them, but that's another story). Get with it, guys!

That said, I've really been enjoying the game

"Fatherland" is not specific to Nazi Germany. and wasn't the intention. My family came from Bavaria in the 1840s, therefore it is the "land of my fathers", which is the definition of "Fatherland". I also own an Alpine hat but have yet to purchase Liederhosen

That said, I think his theory does have some merit, but that's because there's been a marked tendency in public discussions in Germany to rationalise horrible opinions with the addition of phrases like "It has to be possible to say..." or "We're only stating the truth when we say that...". And that in turn often leads to preposterous comparisons with the third Reich. But that's another topic entirely and fortunately hasn't got anything to do with tabletop gaming

Here in the US, they really are calling anything and everythng they don't like names like "Socialist" in order to play on people's fears and hatred. Things often get that label that have nothing to do with Marxist ideals, when in all honesty, they are just fear-mongering.

I hope I didn't forget how to do this, I mean it's been an awful long time. As predicted Diablo sucked me in, swallowed me whole and now, as predicted, it spat me out.

Actually it's been two weeks ago when I stopped playing it, but I had a lot of stuff to take care of and I really didn't want to come back empty handed.

I mean I don't come back swinging either, but at least I can show you the finished base of my current PIP, the standard-bearer for my inquisitorial troopers, the spades, of the berlichingen lionhearts.
