Here is my army list.  My friends play nothing but SM, and Necrons,  They kept complaining about all of my lascannons so i took a few out to keep them from whining.  (Poor Losers)  I am also making an 1850 pts orc army don't know which way to go either foot sloggers or Cult of Speed

Well, not too bad. It isn't nearly as abusive as IW can be, though if I was ur friends I'd whine more about the Obs. On a personal note I never use more than 1 or 2 Obliterators and often none. They're a very good unit, but many IW end up abusing them and maxing them out and I don't like the idea of being lumped in that group. I'm not at all accusing you of that good sir, just making you aware how many other stand on the Obbie question. If you only play your mates you shouldn't have any problem then.

I'd drop the bionics and combi melta from your Lord. Bionics while fluffy are rarely any use and the points are best spend elsewhere. With a Lord that mean and a very large tank hunting contingent he shouldn't be spending any of his time tank hunting. The extra attack from a pistol is better, add mutation if you can squeeze it and he'll be smacking marines left and right. If you really want to be mean make him a sorcerer Lord and give him wind of chaos. Some don't think this is too fluffy, I made a rather large siege heavy flamer based on a GK incinerator to respresent my Lords wind.

It might be worth infiltrating the unit with 2 meltaguns depending on how much armour you have to deal with. Give the second special weapon squad 2 meltas or 2 flamers, you don't gain anything by giving them one of each.

Lastly drop the mutated hull off the Bassie and give it parasitic possession, one more pt of armour isn't gonna make a lick of difference when a large amount of gunfire hits it. If its hidden it should take minimal damage and the possession is there to fix that all important earthshaker should it fall off. Drop the havoc launcher from your defliler. Its a nice piece of kit, but belongs on a rhino or dread. I'm pretty sure its line of sight, so you shouldn't be in sight with that indirect monster, not to mention further than 24 inches. I'd suggest as with Bassie you trade the mutated hull for a parasitic possession as makes those immobilized and gun destroyed results a lot less painful.

I'd also suggest plasma guns with the lascanon squads. The melta guns are too short ranged and do not complement the lascanon.

Naw just go with two melta guns in your squads and make them assaulty(sp) then you will hear him whine about too many melta guns in the squad it looks good and pretty fair by IW standards I like it
