I´m working on that stuff as we speak. Much is already done like pre heresy shoulder pads but I want to hold on to it a wee bit more till I have enough to make it worth molding.

Maxmini are making pre heresy terminator pads. Be interesting to see your take on them.

Well, they are not that minimalistic. Lots and lots of detail is more my style.

Likewise. I really hope we can see the Xenomorph heads on a Gaunt or Genestealer body simply for the sake of scale. Hell, put them on a Guardsman body even; I'm simply curious.

You guys are doing a good (and ballsy) job on your stuff so far, However-

In general with your product you need to watch the symmetry of the sculpts or casts a bit more... This problem is especially apparent on the shields and hammers, things look a little bent or melted. Most apparent would be the front view of the generic hammer for me. And slight asymmetry on the shields detract from the intricate details as it makes you notice the differences in sides rather than just take in the whole piece as one.

That being said, since you guys are just getting started, and have great new sculptors like Navaro in the mix (even if I don't like the new alien style heads... hate it when he puts random vine like tubing that is too thick over the more symmetrical and defined details) things can only get better. If I were you the biggest oppurtunity right now seems to be Tervigons and Tyranofex parts, everyone seems to want to use them and with no direct competition from GW you can kill it with those I think!

As to your recommend request, Check out Freakforge, I actually just started working with him on something, very nice guy and good comms, and he is a sculpting beast for PA and relief details. Not sure if he is a Dakka-ite but he is definitely a B&C guy.

If you can email me his info, it would be much appreciated.

Argos instant-banned me on BnC, they dont like non-GW modelers over there.

What exactly would a tervigon kit consist of anyway? All you'd really need is a pair of chest-vaginas for the torso and a slightly thinner/wider head, right?

Hehe, both maxmini and privateer are frequently showcased and praised over there but Nick got sacked for "advertising"...or was it fighting to much again? lol
But what is to be expected from one such as argos

Those (at least two so far) are actually already done by me and waiting on my table.

Just the Deathwing players wanted a special shoulderpad for their models first and that stole some time away from the pup thingies.

CH - have asked him if its cool to send his info to you, will do so if he is down for it!

As to the Tervigon, yes you could just shove a chest-vag on a carnifex and be done with it, but since the beastie appears to be becoming the Carnifex of the 5th ed codex, having a model that is defined, has unique characteristics and a diff sillouette than it's carny brothers would sell well I think. After all, If you could buy the bits or model from CH, and all you needed was a trygon or a carnie to add the bits to, that should theoretically save a bit of money. Right now, most of what I have seen has either been very very scratch-built, or a bash of trygon/carnifex bits... neither of those 2 kits is cheap, and getting one model out of both would kind of suck. I know there would be enough to make another MC left over, but if you want to be consistent the way you are presenting your tervies in the army, you have only have enough for 1.

just bought some of the fleshtearer shoulderpads....

I bought 20 of them to test.

these things are nice. The jewel is small and optional and they seem to be a bit larger than the metal BA, tac, and assault pads I have bought from GW which makes for a better look when combining them with a standard plastic pad on the other side...you also don't have to carve off any of the shoulder although I did take it off a few to test the look...Very nice and very happy with my order and how fast they got back to me when I emailed them...Now i need about 30-40 more tearer pads for my upcoming seth list

Nick, you're a bloody tease! With you guys doing such great work in my fav. army's model line, I might be inclined to divorce GW and shack up with you.

If you're still taking recommendations, a bits kit for Eldar Aspects would be choice, to be added to the current Dire Avenger or Guardian models. Think something along the lines of a variety of banana-helmeted heads, sword (normal or chainsaw-style) and pistol arms, a heat-ray gun, a wire-spinner gun (with teleporter backpack?), maybe even a laser-blaster gun? Sold in lots of five...? Just a kit for the wirespinner & teleporter would be nice since the current model is as old as the W_D model.

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

alright nick you got me to go WOW.... this is happening a lot lately means good things

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!
