Looking great as ever

Quick question, what's your blending technique? Two brush or something else?

You using PP (or similar HMG Pigment paints) or something else?

...and you will know me by the trail of my lead...

Thanks!

I use two brush, though sometimes I like to finger paint, especially for heavily textured areas, and P3 paints.

Wow not just the painting that's fantastic, but mainly your modelling is what blows my mind.

I read 'fimo' is what you used. Any tips as to the best place to get some?

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

Here's a big Guild ball project that I've just finished up. Been painting up a lot of Alchemists lately, nice to change it up with some Union. Went for a purple and black scheme but kept a touch of red to keep with the traditional Union colours.

Your sculpting and dioramas is absolutely wonderful. Just love it. Fimo is on my 'to buy list' .

Where did you get the tiny yellow flowers you use on the bases btw?

Thanks for the replys! Fimo is great, takes a bit of getting used to since you'll have to build more complete stuff instead of just adding it on with like greenstuff.
I got the flowers from here : https://www.raincityhobbies.com/collections/basing-details/products/self-adhesive-flowering-grass-tufts

Cygnar's newest warcaster, Maddox and her battle group. An alternate color scheme of grey and cream to match an earlier project, instead of the usual blue and yellow. Those big shoulder pads on Cygnar's jacks are such a lovely spot for freehand, I'm surprised I don't see more of it around.

I painted up these so they would like toys, hence the very colourful palette . Though I think I may have inadvertently painted Sully from Monsters Inc.

Painted this crew up for Wyrd Games. It was a blast to do all the cloth and textures. I based the colour scheme off of the concept art. I did a painting article for this Octobers Wyrd Chronicles , check it out here: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/195061/Wyrd-Chronicles--Ezine--Issue-26

Painted up these Bayou bandits. They were always fun to paint, wish these for myself. My own are sitting on the shelf still all sad and gray.

The brew master and his merry gang of drunkards. The moon shinobi were inspired by Kill Bill.

Neverborn's Bayou mistress, Zoraida the swamp witch. The colour scheme was based off of Flemeth, from Dragon Age.

Reva with her loyal crew of murderous men. Malifaux always has enjoyable models to paint, and these are quite simple but elegant, nothing flashy but still stand out. The orange accents sort of remind me of revolutionaries who wore a color band or sash to mark their allegiance.

It's nice to finally paint something for myself. Almost half way done the base game with the White Lion and Screaming Antelope already done.
Quite fun to paint all the OSL on this brutal model, though it was a bit of a challenge figuring out how to do the glow through the faces that were stretched over the lanterns. I even sculpted the base specially for this guy.

Here's my second Chaos Dwarf K'daai Destroyer. I sculpted the flames to cover all the gears on the model to make it look more like demon possessed suit of armor instead of a big clockwork robot. It's a huge and fun model to paint, but I was scared that the brown stuff used to sculpt the flames might break off at the finer points but that stuff is solid! Definitely poked my self more then a few times over the course of painting it.

Here's some more face base inserts I sculpted and painted for Kingdom Death: Monster. The top three are for the monsters, 50mm size and the last one is 135mm for the bigger monsters like the dragon king or the sunstalker. They're available as resin inserts at raincityhobbies.com

Here's Sandeep and his wondrous little gamin friends, as well as some of his must have buddies like the mechanical rider or valedictorian! I used the concept art for inspiration for the paint scheme with the exception of the librarian who I painted up with the old school freikorps scheme.

Just starting out on The Hand from Kingdom Death: Monster. Much painting still to go, still not 100% on his cloak. With his yellow cloak, he's sort of reminding me of the King in Yellow for the Cthulhu Mythos

Harkevich and his legion. Used an alt paint scheme , though kept the standard red that Khador faction uses for the accent areas. Just in time for the new winterguard theme list.

Not usually a fan of hazard stripes, but those actually work really well. Painting is of your usual high standard.

@sockwithaticket Thanks! Yeah hazard stripes really only work on big flat areas, otherwise it just makes things way too busy looking.
