Painted this guy up for a friend who used to play 1.5 Malifaux but is thinking about coming back, thought I'd help him decide by painting up his favourite master!

So amazing. I love how you do skin and faces, it's so realistic looking! Stunning work all round in this thread!

Great work Toadpainter. Your work on faces is as good as anything I have seen anywhere. Love seeing all the PP models you have here too.

More grey knights for a local client. Always entertaining painting the demon faces on the bases, though its hard to see the character on them unless you have them in hand.

Fantastic work! I like your colorful and clean paint style. Must take a long time... is it all hand-blended?

Did this for the Iron Painter wyrd is hosting, into the 3rd round. Thought I'd step it up this round and make a real diorama with one of my favourite masters, since he fits the theme very well. But lo-and-behold my opponent thought it was a good idea too! So he has a Levi crew diorama competing against mine! Should be interesting.

Very nice! Levi's face in particular is outstanding.

More commissions! It's been pretty hard getting back to normal painting after Lock & Load. Much more coming soon!

Was lucky enough to snag these at Lock and load, since everyone was going wild about him. The first one is just standard scheme, simplified loin cloth (I donno why he has that kind of pattern, just doesn't fit ret at all) to be easier to make out since its already quite busy with all those ripples. The second I tried a white trim to shake things up, since I'm not a fan of such a sold metallic scheme like the studio one. Tell me what you think! and which one you like more. And a bonus Anson durst, and yes that is the third one I have posted here. The first two I bought to paint up and sell at lock and load, the third I won at the Iron painter on the first day of lock and load.

Here's my August projects! First up is some scrap markers for malifaux I'm playing around with, these are painted resins which I've been casting and thinking about selling, so tell me what you think! Next is a Autumn Legion army based off of another autumn legion I did a while ago. But this time it's got more reds and browns! or something. Next is a Con exclusives witchdoctor brew , I'll be putting her up on ebay soon. The last is eZerkova who was a commission for a local player.

I love this thread. Great work!

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

Here's some infinity nomads. The client wanted them all to be unique but still somewhat coherent. So i went with a black and orange hazard stripe theme, with white accents which are great place to put free hand. Tell me what you think!

Can't put my finger on it but something seems a little off about the hazard stripes on the Nomads. Having said that the freehand is wonderful, perfectly capturing the Nomad feel IMO, and the painting flawless as always.

These are from Wyrd's Malifaux. Pandora and her sorrows. Tried to keep a theme going of purple and green glow. The sorrows have a bit of purple mixed in with their bellies and faces to tie them in. All of the Insidious madness has purple mixed in with the shading to keep with the theme, and turned out creepy flesh colored Tell me what you think!

Here's more for the same client, no hazard strips on the geckos. They were supposed to be more menacing then the rest of the group. Also did pinup girls on the other ones, first time trying something like that, but I think it worked out well. Tell me what you think.

Here's some monsters from the kingdom death board game. Quite amazing models and game. So brutal and entertaining. The white lion and Screaming antelope, first monsters you hunt. The lion was simple enough, but the antelope has no consistent art for it, one has it dull brown, another its all ash and lava. So I went my own way and gave it a reason to scream. Sadly the game didnt come with fancy bases for the monsters, so that base I had to make myself. Tell me what you think!

Since the kingdom death board game didn't come with fancy bases for the monsters I made my own. They are resin inserts that fit nicely into the KD bases to keep it consistent with the other models. There is the side by side comparison of the masters and resin inserts.
