"I see, there are Grey Knights aswell as Hounds of Loken in the complex, let's regroup with them. " Antiges remarked before gesturing his squad to take a defensive position around the wounded Astartes.
Nathaniel hesistated for a moment, what he would ask would be in direct violation of his superiors orders.
"Wait,we should retrieve Gideon's narthecium,i'm sure Palgrys will be able to make use of it to help Lorenzo recover."
Antiges was about to command Nathaniel to obey when Tarvitz stepped in,"You are a fool,Nathaniel, the Codex does not support this tactic. We are in the middle of an unknown hostile location and you would have us waste time?"
"Of course not! I know we have to get out of here, that is why i will go,alone."
Before anyone else could protest,Nathaniel opened his tracker and configured it with Gideon's,setting out in the marked direction.
Antiges could barely contain his fury, not only did Nathaniel disobey a direct order,he also abandoned his brothers,"Tarvitz,Shoot him down!"
Regretfully,Tarvitz aimed his bolter at Nathaniel, his armour's targeting cogitators ensuring he would fire a lethal shot.

Torgaddon stepped infront of the boltgun, lifting his Storm Shield to block the holy weapon's shot; "Please reconsider,Nathaniel's reaction was wrong, but i too feel that abandoning Gideon and leaving Lorenzo in this state are wrong, besided, shooting Nathaniel would waste our already scarce munition."
Antiges had to restrain himself from tearing Torgaddon apart, another member of his guard would go against him?
This would not show well towards his allies, however Antiges could not afford to lose another member of his squad right now.
Through his long time serving along the blood champion,Tarvitz had matched Antiges' way of thinking greatly, some said he was able to foresee his every move,as such,Tarvitz had lowered his bolter long before Antiges had decided to order him to stand down.
"I shall let him go,when we return however,i will take him to the Reclusiam."

Tarvitz smirked,Antiges may not have realised himself but his words clearly said it,he would take no further actions here against Nathaniel and permit him to return to their side.

Perhaps not, but since GW seems to subsist off sadness and pain, I can't rule it out.

"Your help is appreciated," Palgrys said diplomatically, keen to avoid further tension, with the grey area that was his chapter still a potential issue, and the potential for real trouble if D'Antine reappeared he knew he needed all the allies he could get, "rendezvousing with imperial forces would seem the best option."
Palgrys helped the rousing Lorenzo to his feet and supported his walking as they prepared to move out. Lorenzo was barely coherent but his marine biology was doing it's best. Palgrys himself knew his body was at it's limit too, but with additional forces future exertions should be less intense

Garithos grips the hilt of his sword harder and with a single pull frees it from the floor of living metal. The wound it's bite had caused healed before his very eyes as if he were atop a great and powerful living creature. "Templars, report".

"We have dispatched the undead humans with no losses. The Grey Knights are nowhere to be seen. It would seem we are very much alone in this strange place", Bernas states.

"Then let us take our leave. Hopefully the Hounds of Loken will find their death in the many monstrosities that haunt this horrible place. I hope it is long and painful", Garithos says. He replaces his relic blade on his hip and removes his Boltgun from his thigh. "Follow me", he says. He shoulders the bulky weapon, turns around and walks back the way they came. The other Astartes follow him in a single file though they do not shoulder their own ranged weapons.

Vargard Dred believed he had found one of the Labyrinth walls. After 10,914.37 seconds and 1489 potential choices, there had been no more options to go forwards. He reasoned that that meant he was at one of the six sides. Now he had to go left or right in order to find where two of the sides came together, and then he would have to go up or down to find a corner. If he could get to a corner, he would know where the centre of the Labyrinth was relative to his position and that was the way out.

He had his plan. Now he had to hope it was the right thing to do because he wasn't quite sure.

Gaius saw three distinct figures ahead. He dismounted, seeing the figures properly.
Grey knights.

When Gaius greeted the Grey Knights, he was not greeted back by the. Instead, three storm bolters and an incinerator were raised at the Hound of Loken, the Grey Knights not uttering a single word as their Nemesis Force weapons charged, until Grand Master Soverin spoke.

"You bear the name and gene-seed of a traitor, Hound of Loken, and now you are found with a Xenos creature at your back! You will stand down immediately and surrender, that the Holy Inquisition may judge you all accordingly as soon as we are off this world!"

Gaius saw a fourth grey knight, previously hidden by his brothers.
()
Gaius' put his hands up.
"*sigh* yes, yes. By all means, take me to the inquisition so that they can confirm that I am a member of the hounds of loken chapter of LOYALIST space marines. Jeez. But first" he began moving forward, clicking his mouth to get the wyvern's attention.
"we need to find a way out of here. And that" he pointed to the alien beast.
"is going to help us. It can detect air currents, and will be attracted to them. So we walk around and bata bing bata boom we've found a way out, now come on."

"You will address the Chambers Militant of the Ordo Malleus with the respect such a title bears, Hound! Now move, lest we deliver you to the Emperor's judgement right here and now! You will bring us out of this place or die, and then you shall be delivered to the Inquisition. Along with your... Xenos pet."

Soverin made a gesture with his halberd that Gaius should move, lest he find a Nemesis Force Weapon in his body.

D'Antine could have been walking moments, or an eternity, it didn't matter. He needn't trouble himself with any concept as basic as time now. Not now he was refreshed and restored.
The voices in the immaterium has promised much, he wasn't stupid, he knew he couldn't trust them, but they thought he could be trusted, so why not use him.
Why not let them think he'd be their pawn, the only truth was his body had been close to death, his armour useless. But his mind was alive, and it had bargained, it had fooled the voices into healing the body, replacing the armour, and filling his memories, all those gaps ten thousand years of Imprisonment created. He now saw what had come of his legion, smashed by those filthy wolves, Russ and his dogs. Let down by the emperor, fooled by the voices.
But he was better than that, he knew,.
He knew he was capable of beating them, because he was loyal to the emperor, and he would not falter.
He had reached his destination

Dred had been moving in the Labyrinth for 15,803.48 seconds now and he had just found the place where two sides of the Labyrinth met. Now he waited for either the roof or the floor to open up, and then he'd head either up or down to get to a corner. He would soon be able to know where he was in relation to the core.... and then he'd be on his way there.

Tarvitz activated his vox and send out a message to any who would hear it,"THIS IS TARVITZ OF THE BLOOD ANGELS CHAPTER,WE ARE REQUESTING ASSISSTANCE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE."
His message would allow him to be tracked,he only hoped that it was Allies that would hear it,it'd be disasterous if enemies showed up.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As Nathaniel attempted to reach Gideon,he encountered a zombie horde far more vast than the one they had encountered before.
He cared nought,he was a Blood Angel, one of the Emperor's finest and a scion of Sanguinius,it would take more than a couple hundreds of shambling zombies to fell him.
The Veteran sheethed his pistol and grasped his sword with both hands.
Putting his full weight behind his belows,he felled scores of abominations with each blow causing pus, gore and limbs to fly all over the corridor.
He had hacked his way through several hundreds of zombies before he had noticed, only several of those he had slain had stayed down, almost all of them rose again-albeit in an even worse condition than before-!
He was now fully surrounded, the creatures tossing their bodies against him one after the other from all sides, there were simply too much for a single warrior to fell,he had been overconfident.

Gaius sniggered.
"death guard.
Our own.
World eater.
Ultramarine.
I wonder who might have birthed the core of Your being.
Grey Knight.
I will guide us out of this place, after we find my battle-brothers, and then we shall take a visit to the inquisition. Another month long survey into the purity our chapter.
Sigh."
Gaius quickly mounted his Pet and silently unsheafed his power axe, not wanting, but willing, to fight.

The Grey Knights suddenly shift their attention, their stances uneasy, not because of Gaius' posturing, but as a result of something unknown.

Between the two sides appreared a faint shimmering, much like the distortion of warm air rising through the cold. This grew in intensity, the haze coming sickly green and translucent and a feel of an electric charge filled the air.

The sound of a distant roar of a transhuman in battle, coming closer as the un-natural energies increased. The ground begins to rumble, as though reality itself is resisting the incursion. Just as the sensation reached a crescendo, there was a huge white flash bursting from the centre, the force throwing both parties to the floor, Grey Knights and the mottley band alike.

Those in power armour recovered first, their autosenses shutting most of the intensity of the flash. As normality began to restore itself, there was a figure in cobalt blue, kneeling in a shallow crater. A warrior of Ultramar, a with the actinic crackle eminating from his psychic hood, it became apparent he was a librarian.

He raised his head slowly and turned to regard his surroundings. With both arms on his left knee, he pushed himself upright. The effort though, overcame him. And he crashed into the ground once more and remained still.

After 27,003.72 seconds of movement within the Tesseract Labyrinth, Dred believed he was close to finding his way out. He had located a corner, and from there he could easily work out the relative position of the core, and he knew the core was where the exit lay.

As he strolled down a few passageways, Dred was about to pass by a corridor when he noticed some movement in his peripheral vision as he walked. He stopped immediately and spun on the metal balls of his feet; what he saw down the corridor ahead of him, unsettled him. There was a thick and billowing, pink cloud of fog rolling inexorably down the corridor towards him. This was so totally unexpected and inexplicable that Dred simply stood still and watched it as the first tendrils of the smoky substance began to lap at his feet like an ocean tide coming in.

The Grey Knights turned to face the newly arrived Ultramarine Librarian and stood back up, bolters ready.

"You have travelled a dark path, or so it seems, Ultramarine. You are in an underground Xenos facility."

The Grand Master turned to point to the Hound of Loken.

"This here claims to know the way out. We will travel out of here together and then you will both stand down and face examination by the Inquisition."

and now an ultramarine appears out of nowhere.

he clicked, and his beast, which had curled up while they spoke, unfurled itself, and led the way down the cooridor.
"shall we?" he said, and began walking without waiting for an answer.

D'Antine had done it.
He'd found what he'd been sent for.
He'd flicked the switch on a bank of lights and completed whatever requirement the voices had demanded for the restoration of his body and armour.
Daemons, not voices, he knew that. And he'd used their promises against them, what was flicking a few switches compared to being restored.
Ahead of him a light grew stronger, something was happening, a green glow was building.
This must be what the daemons wanted. Never mind, he was restored, now he could go about contacting the imperium. Perhaps he'd go back for the other space marines
