Awesome work all around!

What bits did you use for the base? I'm thinking about doing some urban ruins bases, but have no idea where to go for things like those tubes, cogs and plasicard bits...

@Para tvm mate
@Leviathus there shall be some high lighting done to the reds there still w.i.p and thnx for the comment on the gold happy how it turned out but still have a lot to learn in the ways of NMM
@Zambro The little cogs and screws came from some old watches i had lying arround (if you have some watches laying arround really worth taking them apart ) also wrecked a old electric razor i had laying arround got the bigger cogs from it
Ofcourse you can use electric wire the protective tube some brushes have on them when you buy them different sorts of plastic card rods etc different sorts of mesh cardboard and skewers can also be good friends in creating urban stuff drinking straws are quite good to work with
Bits of sprue can do magic to your bases
Also got some example pics for you
Hope this helps
Btw probably i will paint up the first 2 bases i shown here tommorow got them primed earlier today
Thnx for viewing!
Grtz

These are bases for my DV Ravenwing bikers wanted a asphalt/roadie looking base just cork and medium grit sanding paper

[Thumb - Painboy.jpg]
This is my pain boy i did last year materials used are protective tubing from brushes for the drainage pipes some mesh, cork and some pieces of sprue and some hot glue for the ooze comming out of one of the pipes

[Thumb - DW Termie.jpg]
Base on this DW Termie was done by cutting pieces of styrenecard in chunks damage them some more with your modeling knive to get a chipped effect

Ace work on the dragon. Also, can you tell me about the shield bit, like where it is from? I am curious as I know nothing about fantasy.

The diorama looks fantastic my friend. The bases look good also, nice and rusty! I think they won't distract the eye from the models and make the BA's really pop!

Looking good Mark! Perhaps the banner could use some shading to give it more depth (especially the blue parts) but it's coming along nicely!
