Subject: Space Hulk: Deathwing - coming to the PC November 2016!
Even pre-ordered it like the fool I am. I'd like more slow terror like the originals, but I'm also ok with L4D3 in Space.

Man just saw their fb post from a while back showing the innards of BT cruiser from the Jerulas Crusade. Just when I thought this game couldnt look any sweeter, they put some Templars in there.
Can't wait to explore the vessels as I assume they are completely open to explore? So is each level a different cruiser, like randomly generated or something? Im sure I read something in an article where a Tau cruiser was mentioned. Not sure if the writer of the article just got confused or we really will see vessels of other races. Would be pretty awesome.

You replied to a post replying to a post from Feb 2015. Why?
Automatically Appended Next Post: Interesting video...
Someone in the comments of that video pointed out that GW is once again licensing a video game for a game you can no longer buy. The Space Hulk board game came out in 2014 and the video game is coming out in 2016, surely it would have been smarter to have them come out around the same time.

We can hope...
Maybe, though I already bought my copy so I'm not going to be interested unless it's a Dark Angel or Space Wolf version of the game
It does strike me as odd that we've heard so little about the game so close to release. No advertising, very little in the way of trailers, nothing that actually shows how the game is actually going to play and so on. It's not confidence building.

I just want Lightning claws so i can attempt to make a hack'n'slash run. Just to see how far I would get(not very far from the looks of those Genestealers)

Lightning Claws are for pansy Blood Angels anyway.

They're terminators... they don't run. I'm sure you can manage a hack'n'slash waddle though.

So instead of using the lore and weapons available they invent a shotgun-stormbolter. Riiiight.

While I think it would be hilarious to see a Terminator try and pump a pump action shotgun with his powerfist, I think having a stormbolter variant works well enough. I don't think it completely spits in the face of the fluff or anything, and there are some people who just want to play with shotties. That arsenal trailer is tasty though.

Because it is impossible for them to discover new weapons or blueprints for new weapons?
But it is a new weapon!
Meh, I'm being a fluff snob haha. Just makes it more like every other pistol, machine gun, rocket launcher, shotgun shooter out there.

Isn't the rail rifle from Fire Warrior still around? Well, as fast as the Tau technology evolves the Dark Angels discover something new (i.e. ancient) in their basement.

If this game is anything like my luck in boardgame/old spacehulk PC, my Bolter will always jam, I will never go faster than a crawl, and my assault cannon will explode without fail.

EnTyme wrote: Still trying to figure out how a plasma weapon "jams". They don't use shell casings, so how does that work?
Could represent overheat or a malfunction with the plasma cell.
The jam icon/notification doesn't have to be so literal. The magnetic field could fail bringing the plasma temperature below critical and bringing it back into a gaseous state. Unless your goal is to fart warmly in the general direction of the enemy with your BFG, it's effectively the safe thing as a jam in that it require time and attention to fix. YMMV.
