Changed my Pledge... This seems to be the (to me at least) to be the best bang for my buck. I will later on buy the resin pinups one at a time as I get chance to paint them. I am so excited about this game!

I also picked up a resin Beyond the Wall on ebay, looking forward to that arriving.

With the above is there anything I am missing that I may need for the game, such as different armour sets etc?

Hmm does anyone know if the Candy & Cola (or upcoming Kingdom Death - female link) are going to be available after the Kickstarter? They seem like the sort of thing that generally exclusives.

Saw the second game-play video. I'm amazed there isn't a computer game version of this. It'd be amazing.

Anyway, I'm not going in (too expensive for my tastes at this time), but I do look forward to playing it. It looks amazing.

This is a really hard project.

The mix and match stuff is killing me to the point I had to push away from the table.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

Are there any 20 packs of basic survivors?

The decision basicly kicking my ass is the little bit about the additional survivor sets NOT being available after the project.

I mean seriously, your playing a game with additional basic survivors, the expansions give you additional chances of getting more survivors, and they are not going to be avalable?

How later are you going to add in those extra people who come from the events? You get a settlement worshipping the sun god, and your not going to deck them all out? How exactly is the after project going to work in getting more base survivor models?

I'm in between holding fast at 500 bucks, or increased up to 870 for the added packs of the survivor armor sets. 20 each. the other way only give you four or five of each. That increased up to 670 or so.

I believe you can only take a limited amount of people with you at a time (4?), so you don't need to represent all of your survivors at once. I'd imagine that the amount of survivors you have is simply the number of 'lives' you have to expend.

I make it at $614.00 for the survivor pledge, the expansions, and the 4 pack survivor sets for each of the armors.

Does that sound about right?

Stripped down the pin ups and the bases for now. Hope they show up later.

That's a lot of money to spend the next couple of months threatening to withdraw, Grot.

Don't forget to add in the cost of those plastic "face" base inserts you'll need to pick up for your little army.

I'm seriously liking the game. Thats the problem.

Digging through the options, but honestly the game is just really expensive. Then the fact that I'm geting mixed signals from the thing in how it actually plays, as to how much stuff we're really talking thats going to be on the table at one time...

Don't get me wrong, it isn't so much of a threat, as much as saving me from myself.

I am unable to access the Kickstarter page. Anybody else having these troubles? I get a 403 error if I try to access any Kickstarter page. Wierd.

Doh - I've got a problem. I FINALLY saw a BF survivor pledge open up just now. I rushed to snatch it up - I logged into my Amazon account and authorised it, etc.

When it went back to the Kickstarter page - it gave me an error message of "sorry that reward is sold out" or something along those lines. "Doh, someone beat me to it." I thinks.

But then, I get an email from Amazon telling me my credit card is ok to be charged when the KS ends. So did my pledge go through or not?

I don't seem to be able to comment on it at KS (i.e. - it's not counting me as pledging) - so I'm wondering if maybe me and the other guy got it at the same time and things sorta broke? But then if my card is getting charged in ~64 hours I'd damn well better be getting the goods.

I want the Dragon and Sunstalker armour extra kits, to make an army of something, but then I realize that I don't really have anything to use them for, since I no longer play 40k, and that no matter how cool a model is, I hate painting too many of the same thing.

So in the spirit of Grot 6, I must save me from myself.

Silly question, but did you try logging out and in again? I'm not sure if this will push or update your Backer status but it's worth a shot if nothing else has worked.

I would also contact Amazon and Kickstarter directly.

If I can up my pledge to $455 to get Survivor, all the xpacks, and a couple of KS exclusive pinups, you can too.

I tried it an nothing, I'll contact them tomorrow I guess - just to be sure. But I'm pretty resigned to not having gotten it already though :/

If it's any consolation, I've recently spent $75 on a Twilight Knight, Pinup Survivor, and a Forsaker.

You could always try adding to your pledge or switching pledge levels (since you're sure you didn't get it anyway) and see if it recognizes you as a backer then.

Still contact the companies just to be sure you're not double charged.

Looks familiar, but I can't quite put my finger on it...

She looks great. I wasn't sure what I was going to get with the last $15 of my pledge, but that seals the deal right there.

Also, the silhouette of this next goal looks cool as hell. And being part of the Herald set, it's free too. So I hope we get there.

Possibly. Although I don't know why he'd make a beetle armour set part of Herald of Death while the Beetle himself isn't.

Perhaps, and that'd be pretty cool. I liked the Beetle, but hadn't intended on getting on it (MUST. STICK. TO. BUDGET.), so getting it for free would be a great surprise.

That said, an extra armour set AND monster is a pretty big addition for free. Not that I'd be complaining.

From Kingdom Death:
Plastic Pinups - I have not finalized how these will be packaged yet. Will most likely come with a small art card.
Resin Pinups - These will be packaged like the other resin miniature line : Stamped Kraft Box, small art card & 6"x4" matte print of the full concept art.

From Kingdom Death, regarding the "Link" special character:
We have unlocked the Messenger of Courage, a promotional miniature that will only be available thru this kickstarter and future Kingdom Death special events!

Looking at around 810 or 614 based on what I was looking at.....

The 155, the expansions and the armor sets.

ALOT of friggin cabbage, to be sure.

I hear ya... I'm at 360 atm (no Pinups, just game content) and thinking about upping my pledge for the base inserts and some of the other expansions (still missing Spidicules, Lion God and Gorm)

Sooooo many options...

Check out my Warmachine and Malifaux painting blog at http://ik-painter.blogspot.com/

As always, enjoy and have fun!

This is why I held off. I knew I would end up with a huge amount tied into it, when I don't even know if I'll like the game.

I'm fine with grabbing the plastic pinups I want later from their site.

I have lowered my pledge to just my BF Survivor. Money saved now vs. ability to purchase later has made it neccessary.

Though not-Link may be my only push into extras...

Must.... resist....

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!
