Once again the majority of the credit for this fine model goes to Doghouse.  The two of us worked together via email back and forth to get the torso sculpted.  Female Power Armor is really hard to get just right, but I think we found an excellent balance.  Once sculpted, he sent it to me, and then it dissapeared for a month, and just when we thought it was lost in the warp forever, a burnt and torn package appeared on his doorstep.  Apparently, some kids had put some kind of explosive in the mailbox and the package had been blown up.  (True Story)

Miraculously, however, it was still intact, the little greenstuff torso stuck in a corner of the remaining half of the bubble wrap envelope, which Doghouse then sent to me in a new envelope, making the journey across the Atlantic and finally getting to me, which tells me that not only does this model have two wounds, but also apparently, an invulnerable save.

The arms and Backpack are just blue-tacked on at this point, but I'm extremely pleased with the results.  Enjoy. 

For anyone who didn't get to see it before, here's the Female Terminator Prototype as well.  Having both Female Power Armor and Female Terminator Armor in the same army list is not only wickedly cool, but creates a continuity of equipment and style.  You may notice that I intentionally mimicked some of the Terminator's attributes, like the double-tabbard and thigh-plates.

clang it gives them a bonus in close combat they get increased initiative when the enemy stares @ thier naughty bits. haha! DR.Thunder like the concept looking foward to seeing a painted example .

Am I somewhat strange, or is it normal that I don't think the chest armor is too big boobwise?

Agreed on the chest armor being ok, and most definitely not salacious and such. It does need to cover over the mams of the, er, marine herself, and being thick enough to stop projectiles / xenos groping is only a good thing for the gal's survivability.

On the model itself, I think I like the abdomen section the best, though the torso isn't bad at all really. Only the power panties thing is a no go for me, kinda too wide. The terminator though, she looks good. I like that she's taller and slimmmer, and her power panty bit looks better as her hips are a little narrower. The power armored gal seems kinda squat to me, which is actually appropriate given how squat male marines are.

So nice work over all, I dig the terminator a lot, and paint will look quite cool.

OK. Look the terminator armor is well over ten feet tall, and about twice the size or a "normal" female human. There would be more than enough space to put them.



For reference here are some female soldiers who don't have almost two feet of machine on their chests.

I think that's a fair question, and I don't mind you asking.    The reason is because I hate the sisters of battle models.  Nuns with guns is, I think, a terrible theme, and the models don't look anything like what I think a female in power armor should look like.

In the distant future there are only giant boobies of doom. And war. Yea. Cause guys like fighting each other for the giant boobies.

Apparently this Chapter has another type of implant that other chapters don't get...

Maybe EE breasts is the strange mutation that keeps the gene-seed from being usable in women.

Got some update pics for everybody.   I took the chapter badge to a much higher level, with custom sculpted shoulder pads.  The spiderweb designs are copied off the spiderwebs in the tree behind my house.  I test-fitted the wood elf heads onto the power armor marine, and realized, to my horror, that the head is waay too small.  So, unfortunately, I'll have to use regular marine helmets, but maybe I can jazz them up a bit with some pony-tail style top-knots or something like that.

Like before, everything is just blue-tacked together at this point. 

I like it. The sculpting is excellent. The "proportions" also look better on the second series of pictures. The only thing I'd note, for some reason the standard marine helmet doesn't seem appropriate for this. Have you give thoughts to some sort fo Valkyrie helmet or other modification, just to set them off.

The terminator continues to be impressive, but I agree that the marine helmet on the power armor lets it down a bit. Makes her look even more bulky, which again the terminator doesn't suffer from for some reason. The termi is nice, tall and thin (ish), not squat and with so much 'boob shelf' going on ...

the torso on the terminator looks fine.. the torso on the power armor is too thick.. not just in the jugs but all the wa around.. what makes it definately feminine is the curve or plunge from boobs to waist.. it just isn't there on the power armor.. also, withthose things onthe  hips, you are going to give the poor girl a complex.. thunder thighs, balistic boobs and hippo hips.. ouch..  not a pretty picture..

 

I think some good points have been raised, so I blue-tacked up some options, and I need everyone's help deciding which way to go.

First, let's look at the body without a head top cleanse the palete:


Okay, our first option is to keep the helmets, but add something to them, like some hair:



Our next option is to use the wood elf heads, even though they are a little small:



And our third option is to use another kind of helmet altogether, something like this:

What asre you going to do with them. Cast your own, greenstuff and entire army, or just stick to combat patrol?

Helmet with tassel and wood elf heads. The hoplite type helmet doesn't work for me in this instance - the horsehair crop is so high up it reminds me of eldar.
