After a lot of work and stops and starts I've been able to make some progress with my Krieg Shadowsword conversion.

It features the fully detialed interior with Kreig Crew and the new Krieg Tank filter set.

Heres some pics of the current progress. I especially wanted to bulk out the large empty area in front of the driver and main gunners console. So I tried to fill it out with more cabling and gave the drivers controls a drive shaft. I also added rare earth magnets so the commanders top deck can easily be removed.

Heres the turret section. A lot of extra work went into detailing the interior. The commander is actually complete, theres a ladder inside the cuppola that i scratch built out of bits and plastic rod.

The white sections are detailed embossed plasticard, its difficult to see in these pics but it has a nice suface detial.

Front hatch includes the same embossed plasticard on the underside.

And heres the whole thing stuck together. It will be left un glued so the top can easily come off to access the interior. It's still very in progress at the moment. Sadly FW include chairs for the tank commanders but they don't allow room to actually put any models on the chairs. As soon as you put a figure onto them the turret won't fit. I'm working on plasticard extra armour strips at the moment to cover the gaps and fill it out more naturally.

Will post more pics as the work continues. It's hard to find the time at the moment so its taking ages!

Heres a few closeups of the driver and main gunner. Pics aren't great a little fuzzy. The pink and green straws look a little funny but will be better once painted ")

Both are from adapted from the Centaur Crew.

Thanks for the comments guys. The Crew were actually a lot more difficult to get into the chairs than they seem.

I had to shave down alot of the driver and main gunner to get them to fit into the dinky FW chairs. Removed a lot of the extra stuff like holsters and ammo clips from the belts, and had to cut back on some of the flowing trenchcoats.

The Commander at the comms console was the most work. I had to totally restructure the pose and need to sculpt a lot of the trenchcoat and legs again. The original seating Grenadier had a pose that was too wide for the small area around the command deck console. I cut the legs off at the knee, took off some thigh pin viced the knee cap back into place and then green stuffed around it. I also had to strip it back to the bare essentials to get him into the chair. Shaved down alot of the back and extra equipment.

I decided that I wanted the commander to be more noticably different from the other regular crewmen, so He'll have the extra carapace armour and the grenadier skull mask will be green stuffed and worked with to get rid of the skull detail. He'll just have a regular mask with an armour plate.

At the moment I'm working on the wheels and treads. Will poost some more pics up soon.

Really really impressive work Gundamm, masterful attention to detail. Look forward to seeing the beast painted up.

Also, you have more Kriegers to go with this? I don't recall seeing more Korps from you before ...

Hi Boss, thanks for the feedback.

I've got a whole load of krieg stuff actually. I just haven't had time to work on much of it. I did a Krieg commissar convo a while back, I've updated it recently and changed the posing following peoples feedback. When I've finished more of it I'll post some updated pics.

I've already finished my Ryza Mars Alpha Leman Russ and I'm working on a Krieg armageddon Basilisk, but thats hit a dead end as I have to paint most of the interior before I can finish construction.

as far as infantry go I have the junior command squad, x2 advancing squads, x2 firing squads, a Grenadier Squad with a heavy flamer team, and a Grenadier Centaur. All of this stuff is still sitting in the bags!

I need to get some heavy weapon platoons and death riders then my army will be done pretty much.

But I really want to get some of those new super heavies as well.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

My current nitpick with this model is that the crew are poorly chosen. The crewman at the bottom, volcano cannon gunner? hasa pair of binocuilars in hand, which is very odd allowing for where he is sitting.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

The crew is pretty cool.
Do those parts also come with the FW conversion kits for the GW plastic Baneblade?

I was thinking about this the other day.

The guy with the binocs, you could use some guitar strings or something similar to connect the binocs to the console, to make it appear as some kind of targetting device integrated into the tank instead of just random kit.

Just a thought.
