Help, please.

On recommendation from someone in here many years ago, I bought some epoxy resin.  It was good stuff (came in two white tubs, one sticky-soft, one harder and less sticky).  I've since thrown out the remnants...and I don't remember what it was called.

Who uses epoxy resins?  What're they called?

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

It sounds like you mean Epoxy Putty.

Based on the description of the containers that you gave I would say it was either Magic Sculp or Apoxie Sculpt.

Apoxie Sculpt:

Hope that helps.

Bingo! Much obliged.

Hmm. They use distributors now; I'm fairly sure I bought it direct, back then.

Do you have a preference, TaarnaK?

I didn't really look at the site and I definitely ordered Magic Sculp direct when I bought my 5 lb tub.

Well, their working properties are very similar, so if you have used Magic Sculp, then you will pick up Apoxie Sculpt very fast.

Personally, I prefer Apoxie Sculpt.  Slightly better working time (in my experience, anyway), no odor, and ordering direct means that you have a much better chance of getting the freshest batch possible.

Hope that helps.
