Pretty much finished my floating lair...came out very nice if I do say so myself!

I just need some black wool to finish off my carpet...if anyone has any they can part with, feel free to drop it off in the chest in my lair.


I also did some serious exploring...Came across and marked two things with signs:

The 'valley of death' (just a valley with really high walls on both sides) at x:185, y:72, z:-261

We should really scoop the bottom out of the valley of death and make it into something really fearsome...that would be awesome.


Also, I found a strange 'high dive' in an ice area. Its perfect for a leap of faith into a small opening in the ice below.

The goal of the game is to survive. Everything else you do in the game is up to you.

I can't get on, ghostly place a source block at the top of your pit and swim down to get your stuff.

crashalicious. Rebooted. I'm going to change auto reboots to every 3 hours which will be a bit annoying when it is working, but a saving grace when it is not.

Seeing as we can't get into the nether to get it normally and all, it might be nice to have a netherrack chest in the spawn sanctuary for those of us (such as me when I finally get the money to buy the full game) that want to make netherrack fireplaces.

We need a self destruct sequence for when the creepers and zombies finally invade...

Hollow out the area under the sanctuary and put like 100 blocks of tnt under it, and inside the walls... with a red wire going to a button that says do not touch!

I shall start work on this immediately....

Nah, that's be impossible.

Quite literally, the physics of the Nether are different from that of the overworld. There's an ambient light everywhere, the fog is red instead of blue or black, and lava flows further than on the overworld.

Netherville doesn't have to be exactly nether, just a nether substitute.

I'm building one of Kiershar's monster droppers, except I'm doing one layer with spawners everywhere. I should get the same effect, I think. The hardest part is making the floor and cieling. oy. Flying helps though.

That thing is creeping me out, I can just see it from the window on the treehouse.

I think I'm going to need a warehouse soon, my only problem is deciding whether to build it amongst the trees or below ground with the mine/treefarm.

a zombie came out of corpse's mine, and at the same time a creeper managed to swim through the waterfall trap and jump the fence, so I'm fortifying it some more.

And whats that ticking noise I hear under the sanc. ?

Yeah mobs can swim up so your trap just kind of helps them over the fence... :/
