Some of it.

Still have available;

FM Guide
Fated Guide
FM Kit
Arcane Deck

Hannah
Santana
LE Fate Deck

Sorry to say but the MPM pack already sold. Had a few nibbles on Hannah and the books, but nobody has committed to them just yet.

Kind of surprised how little interest there has been in Santana. I guess tossing ~1,300 of them 'into the wild' satisfied a really massive chunk of the demand.

At this point I've made back over half of my contribution, so that's alleviated some of the pressure (trying to pay off some bills due to some shenanigans earlier this year, it's a long story), so I'm not in any rush just yet, but if there's anything you're interested in, let me know, maybe we can work something out. Might be time to branch out a little, at least to solid Canadian members of the Dakka community. Not gonna hit the wilds of eBay just yet.

Mathieu, I know that Cyporiean was trying to move her rewards, I believe she had somewhere around the 125 level.

So, if anyone has been following on the KS Comments or the TtB playtest forums, my woes with getting this gak have finally been answered. At the end of August (a month ago) I sent in a service request to figure out where the flying feth my stuff was, Nathan emailed me and said they were looking into it, and if I hadn't heard anything within a day to email Kelly at Wyrd and gave me her email. Kelly emailed the next day said my package was scanned for shipment but never left the warehouse so they were going to pack me up a new one and send that out (If it never left, why did they have to pack up a new one?). I waited a week from initial request to Kelly's email. Two weeks went by and I hadn't heard anything so I sent in a reply to my support request asking what was going on with stuff. Aaron, the chap that's been answering questions on Wyrd's forums and the KS comments told me that Kelly was traveling for work (for 2 weeks?) and that he'd get me a definitive answer. That was a week ago, but Monday night I received an email from a Victoria stating that my package was lost in transit and that a new one had been packaged up and sent via FedEx, and that if the other one ever did show up, it was mine to keep. That email was sent around the same time as a FedEx tracking email... so apparently this stuff isn't vaporware, and it's on its way to my house...

Edit: Holy balls it'll be here tomorrow...

I've been having some difficulty with Wyrd and their shipping too.

In my shipment from Wyrd for this Kickstarter I didn't receive the softcover rulebooks. I had to put in a ticket for them, I heard back relativly quickly but the package took forever to get to me. Then I placed an order for over $100 during Gencon so I could get this years Miss, It wasn't in the box I received. I put in a ticket, I heard back realtivly quickly but never received it. I put in another ticket about the missing Miss last week, they claim to have shipped me another one, we will see if I ever receive it.

Yeah, at this point I'd just like the hardcover to come in and to wash my hands of the whole thing. Maybe give it a whirl with my usual gaming group, but with other games coming in and a wide selection of favourites already in hand, it's going to be competing with a bunch of other stuff for table time, and at this point it's kind of a losing battle.

The amount wasted on shipping is ridiculous. That alone ought to be a concern for a company. Or they really are just shifting blame...

... that's never happened before in the history of ever.

The amount wasted on shipping to me would suggest that they have a "problem" somewhere.

Yeah their stance on shipping is kind of weird. So at Gencon time (and I've confirmed it in past years as well) if you order $100 of product they give you a "Miss" model. You would think that you should be able to order say $200 in product and get two of them. No you can't, but you can place two orders at the same time, from the same person, going to the same address. That just makes more work for them because people do just that, and it costs more for the buyer because shipping on those orders was a minimum of $16. You'd think it would be easy to just look at the invoice and go "$200....2 plastic bears"

Something is backwords in the house of Wyrd.

Yeah. It seems to be a form of artificial scarcity, but comes at the detriment of having people put in like 4 orders rather than one giant one.

I'll bet the hours of hassle and headaches in the warehouse alone would be worth just dividing orders by $100 and giving out Miss _____ figures that way.

I mean, it's their prerogative, but it seems counter productive to me, especially with how much they have (at least in the past) complained about the massive piles of work that Gencon causes them.

As a customer the reason I dislike it is because I spent $50 in shipping across 3 separate orders. I'm betting 1 large shipment would have cost me about $25.

Doing something like that creates an artificial minimum value on the Miss___ (or whatever they're giving away per $100 order) because for me to buy from Wyrd versus any other online retailer I'm giving up a 25% discount. That and Wyrd shipping is pretty terrible about $6-$8 more than I'd pay elsewhere. So by that math I wouldn't let a Miss Ery go for less than $31.

I got into Malifaux this year and I made three orders. I'm keeping and have built one, and the 2nd went to a trade for Johana. I've got one lying around now, I'll use it for trade the next time some comes up that I don't want to spend money on. But future Black Friday's and Gencons I'm going to keep this in mind and maybe not make so many separate orders.

THE FUN HAS BEEN DOUBLED!!!

I finally got the Miss Teddy or whatever its called.

In Wyrd's defense, were lucky that they extend their gencon offers to their webstore at all. Alot of companies that do convention exclusives don't do that.

Yes, offering them is something not all Gencon attending companies do. How they go about doing so, however, has always seemed a bit nonsensical.

Unless they're making a bit of cash off shipping fees, or the larger boxes cost exorbitantly more, it's literally just making more work for the warehouse sending 2-4+ boxes to certain houses, when I imagine it'd be faster and more cost effective for everyone involved if they just shipped out one or two larger boxes.

Not that they care what I think about the matter. I just find it strange that they'd set up a system to add extra boxes to those that need to go out during the busy Gencon period, and then seem to complain each year about how loaded down the warehouse staff is post Gencon. They're actively making things worse for said staff with this policy.

And here's the latest update, so I'm not just necro'ing a conversation from three weeks back.

Hello backers!

Hope everyone is doing well and able to enjoy Through the Breach. I'm here to give you a small update on the hardcover special edition books. Here are some quick pictures of what the book looks like:

They came out very nicely, and we hope that you'll like them. They're moving along, but it'll take some time for all of them to ship here and go through customs on both ends. Once we have them, we have to check them over and then ship them out ourselves. This means that it is likely they won't be in your hands until December or even January. They will, of course, ship along with the additional TTB Limited Edition Fate Decks.

We will be sending out another survey to everyone to verify your contact information for where we should send the book. Please make sure that you reply to this survey -- we will not be responsible for reshipping rewards to anyone who has incorrect, incomplete, or outdated shipping information. Also, please keep in mind that you are responsible for your own country's customs fees.

Thank you all for bearing with us! We appreciate your support and patience through everything.

If you have any issues with your earlier rewards, you can reach out to us directly via Contact Us on our website.

I bought out Cyp's pledge and... was it worth it? Hannah had an arm missing on the sprue, as well as a hand missing from the bonus crew in the box (not Cyp's fault, everything was in shrink-wrap) Both were fixable.

But the spelling, syntax and grammar mistakes in the books. Oi Vey. As a non-native speaker, you'd think I'd be able to gloss over those, but some are glaring. I saw some its it's and double words in there...

Yeah, I trust Wyrd's game mechanics (my RPG group has hit had a bit of a dry spot this fall so I can't comment on play), but wow are there some embarrassing errors in that book.

Mack had the backers edit the book, in addition to the two paid employees that were hired to edit the book and the mistakes are still atrociously there.

Also, I'm glad I didn't get the HC book, that cover art critter looks bad and the cover art in general looks just flat...

There was some grumbling on the official Wyrd forums that some backers had noticed errors they had caught in proofreading were still there.

I think that was back when we got the PDF's, but apparently some didn't get corrected. I haven't read through yet myself, probably wait for the hardcover to arrive in a few months (have plenty on my plate for Nov/Dec), but that's a shame.

Alf, yeah, Nathan seems to love the new Daydream art, and I agree that I'm happier with just the normal versions, since I'm not a fan of those covers either.

I took the FM guide and the Fated guide to work last week on separate days, sat down and read through the parts I hadn't yet (pulled myself through character creation last year), and it was just astounding some of the grammatical mistakes I saw. Few points where word choice didn't made sense, tense was wrong, someone typed "the the" in a sentence (which I know is something that Microsoft Office catches). It was really bad.

I didn't even realize that the little dude was the new daydreams. I liked it when the Dreamer was this 'innocent' little kid and thus Daydreams matched that child like innocence. I guess new Dreamer hit his angsty teen years?

Yep, I thought that the Nightmare set had some spectacular designs, and none of the new ones really do it for me: even if technically better, none of the new minis are conceptually improved, in my opinion, except the alps, which I still don't like (they're just better than the old ones).

Regarding duplicate words, it's entirely possible that some of those were last-minute changes (and errors), and design software for magazines etc. unfortunately don't have the same checking functionality as word processors. But, yeah, some of the other mistakes felt like a bad rush job- I wish they'd put more effort into it, since it's a text-based game.

The hardcovers are going out. Mine arrived in town but because they used FedEx "Ground" (I didn't even know this was a thing), I had to go pick it up in the suburbs.

Which was a 3.5 hour round trip.

Which is, essentially, the perfect finale to this project.

Box contained the hardcover, which is fairly nice, and the second LE fate deck.

They've been doing Wyrd's plastics since Wyrd started making plastic kits. It's one of the reasons I backed Poots' and DFG's kickstarters.
