That's cause it's not painted. it's Washed. Somewhere on his Mantis Warrior blog he has a basing tutorial. Check it out!

That's cause it's not painted. it's Washed. Somewhere on his Mantis Warrior blog he has a basing tutorial. Check it out!
It's in his sig, it's the "Basing the Gitsplitta Way" link, I tend to use it when I base, although I'm nowhere near as good.

It's my rather poor attempt at copying the job the professional painter did on wyfox's Tau. It's crude... but should pass cursory inspection.
