LotR? I can get behind that.

One element to rule them all, one element to find them,
One element to bring them all and in their friendship bind them.

There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable.

It was an epic episode, definitaly one of my favorites. Found Luna's bodyshape slightly odd, though. Is she really that thin, and with such a broad neck?

That's the only thing I worry about with Season 2.

I don't want fanservice to take over.

Well to be fair, it hasn't gone that far yet,in fact, when I watch an ep,I can see it just as a normal kids show, then later I see the references on "MyLittleBrony".
So if they they stay the way it is now, everything should be fine.

I hope it stays this way.

I'm just getting worried about the frequency of Derpy appearances.

Do you see what I'm driving at, though?

I don't want the show to become saturated with fan service and brony shout-outs.

I don't think this is an unreasonable concern.

I get what you mean, but it's a bit of an overreaction given what we've seen. I'd agree, if the episode featured Derpy in every scene doing something derpy. But she did it once. >.>

Plus, she'd already derped once in the first season, remember? Dropping all that stuff on Twilight!

I enjoy having to look for references, I hope they continue to slip them in subtlety.

Personally, a small bit each episode would be fine, but variety. Not just Derpy, and maybe not so direct. Hell, Bon-Bon and Lyra holding hooves in the background.

So, in the course of writing my fanfic, I have become unsure of how to conclude it. My first thought was to leave it vague and open to interpretation, but now I have thought of a more definite ending that would either make it entirely self-contained, or open to further expansion should the mood strike me. At the moment, I can't see continuing it, but the pride-y part of my brain makes me think that someone might see it and want to do something with it.

Whargarbl. Writing is hard for me.

There have been a few MLP/40k crossovers, but I haven't read any.

It might have been done, though.

The fun, it has doubled so many times that it has now gained sentience, and is chasing you throughout the Internets.

Hmm, that gives me an idea.

A living embodiment of evil who forces people to commit terrible deeds and manipulates them to have fun while they do it, leaving them conflicted with the horrors of their actions and the sick enjoyment they derived from them.
