In my own group, the ages range from early 20's to early 50's and about half the crew has had military experience, in fact a couple guys from our group shipped for Iraq recently.

I was wondering what the average mix of players is in the different gaming groups represented here.

My group is similiar, with less military and a tighter age grouping.

We mostly met through our LGS, and we count 14 players or so, from mid-20's to mid-30's. While our oldest is 40+, and our youngest is yet to reach 21, they are outside of the curve...

about 1/4 are former military, with one guy re-upping and being deployed, again. God Bless him.

My core group is a composite of people I met in high school and in college. We are all in our late 20's. We mostly play at the LA Battle Bunker though so there is always a large flux of non-core gamers we play with who range all over the scale. Of my core group, a couple of them went into the military (although all of them are out now) but they played 40k before they signed up.

Threads should be like skirts: long enough to cover what's important but short enough to keep it interesting.

well our group is pretty large ranging in age from the early 20s to 50s and most players are active duty military or retired military, which is understandable since the game store i frequent is a stones throw from 2 major military bases.

All early twenties, all met through a college gaming club. One or two outliers who occasionally show up, like our american buddy Ted who is in his thirties, and some of the local kids who are 16+.
There's about 20 of us.
