(Iliad) The diamond stays like that, perfectly still for some time, then you realise that the knights arnt even on the field of battle. You send out some scouts, and they report back, the knights have set up a temporary camp about 20 leagues east of your position

The dead march on, spreading out to surround the camp. Archers nock poisoned arrows, which drip black death upon the ground as their heads are lifted skywards. As the shafts are released, a faint whistling fills the air, soon becoming a panicked shriek as they land among the camp.

The arrows fall amongst the camp but you hear a deppressing lack of screms instead you are greete with a sound much like rain falling on a metal roof

I wonder what to do. It seems obvious, after the other temples, that we will have to fight this army, but i'm not sure how to go about it.
I look to the others in my party, and wait for their opinions...

(The group) Orac moves forwards, "see how each of them has a symbol beneath them? look there, a helm, and there, a chestpiece, i think that may have something to do with whats coming, also look at those over there, how they are facing towards the rest of the army? and how they have swords beneath them? I dont kow what it means but its certainly interesting, especially when you consider that that general looking one has the swords beneath him."

I am Eckeon, a demon hunter of sorts. I met up with Yarnik and his men in another town a few days to the south, though, it was already overrun by demons. So we were travelling inland to search for someone with enough magical power to reverse or at least stop the tragedy of that town. We ended up here and as you can see they also were under an assualt of the demonic... Now that I think about it I wonder if this warlock was the same that turned the other town. That would be a relief.

But tell me young sir what be your name and your purpose if you are not travelling with Yarnik and his men? Come to think of it where is Yarnik I think he'd like to meet a fellow ataani.

ooc i take it from the map myself and the ataani are on the NE side of the Old Kingdom, with the intent of pushing to phobos castle?

Ordering the corpse-chariots into position, they charge down at the camp, their spectral steeds making no sound as they hurtle towards their prey.

It`s simple, just destroy the statues now! They cannot fight back.

Ranun swings his mace at the head of the nearest statue.

I draw power from the artifacts, and send a massive disintergration lance straight down the nearest row of statues. I continue to cast, blowing apart statues left, right and center.

ooc on the map whats the name of the town to the NE of old kingdom, and uhm pretty much everything east of the eastern sea

Nevermind I got the eastern continent stuff

I wander far from the group and remove the last 2 exploders from my bag, i chuck them in opposite directions, each cleaving apart groups of the tightly packed statues.

**Tyranic Marta**

(All of a sudden the statues spring to life, and a strange tableu appears before you, Edon as he walks through the ranks of stautes casting magic into them fires at them yes, but when the magic hits them, it richochets from the small group of statue with the symbols beneath them, to the much larger group with the swords, these statues prove vulnerable to the magic and it destroys them utterly.

The statues seemingly immune to the magic, turn on the ones without, (For the purpose of simplicity we will call the statues fighting for you "Marked" and the ones against, "Unmarked")

Ranun cleaves into the marked statues and they soon surround him swinging and fighting but he can resist them, just.

Rarora, makes a great swath with the exploders but he soon realises that unless he gets back to the group he wont survive.

(Eckeon) (Yarnek has been afk for a while, will take control of his char if he doesnt turn up in 12 hours.)

and yes you guys are NE abouve the old kingdom, most of the next part of your timeline will involve moving through it, and the mountains of silence beyond.

(The group) All of you notice a conspicuous lack of core energy in the room, usually there was a great orb that floated around the cieling, but not here, then you notice the Unmarked general glowing slightly and all of you realise, if you can kill him then it stops. But getting to him could be an issue, the ranks of Unmarked are thick and many, it will take a long time to fight through this horde.
