You can if you like! Showing a colour scheme will help get people interested in swapping with you. But often you can just approach someone in the thread, or say a particular marine you're looking for and that can be enough to get discussion going.

Dear all here is some up dates with my idea of a spacemarine/ork/huybrib thing this is really early srages at the monent and only bule taced togher. The only thing is im stuch on the head I only have 2 ork heads a few grechen heads and lots of space marine heads unforchenly they are mostly with a helmet on. adn on canadien head from the sentenal frame that I cant find

Here is an alpha legion guy I have just finished for Medabee, and the four remaining marines I am willing to paint for someone.

If anyone would like a Blood Angel painted up for deathwatch or just to have please get in touch, i posted samples of my work a few pages back. I'd be interested in a space marine from any chapter/homebrew loyal to the emperor

I collect ultramarines but these guys need painting I have posted my preveous painted gus (I think They are on page 57 and on 58 are thr guys im willing to swap) but they are not painted exect the bark bule guy that needs huliting and and some aitenon on one of the eyes.

Well its time for me to enter this fun little place, in total I have five marines that are up for trade, four still need to be assembled and all need paint. Of course if you dont want to to paint one Im fine with that.

Yes the pewter BlackTemplar Captain with combi melta and power weapon, he just doenst fit into my army.

Trades Im interested in are for a vangaurd squad, so closecombat is the theme.

I absolutely love Black Templars, either early next year or when the BT codex comes out (depending on if it gets announced any time in the next year) I will be starting a BT army.

I have 2 pairs of death company legs with the least BA theme to them and a whole host of CC weapons from the assault squad, SM captain and space wolves boxes... totally be up for making you a custom plastic figure in exchange (as soon as I get the marine done for Lucifer, which will be pretty soon), your choice of weapons.

I wouldn't hold your breath on a black templar codex. They just got a huge FAQ, I see necrons, tau, eldar and chaos needing a revamp before templar would see one

Indeed, I have been told as much, but hope springs eternal! And if I make sure I collect a very open army list hopefully it'll fit in with the codex when it arrives in... three to four years

I bet we see either DA or BT before Eldar, maybe Tau. No way we would go 5 (you forgot SoB) codecis with no power armor.

Necrons and tau desperately need a revisit. The reason I say Eldar is space wolves are easily one of the best psychic armies in the game, Eldar should dwarf them in psychic powers, which is not the case. With each new codex Eldar slowly slip to less and less powerful psychic status. Even the GK codex offers amazing psychic powers.

But we digress from the purpose of this thread. WM, i will try to get a picture up tonight or tomorrow of the GK terminator for ya

I agree eldar are slipping, but DA, who have a "Master Psyker" and a powerful librarium are also increadably bad (they only even have 3 powers, and one is exclusive to the named guy). BT are overcosted compaired to any other codex. And we know how much GW luvs marines.

The idea for my vanguard (and really the orginal idea for my army) its a patchwork group of various marines. So really Im just looking for something that isnt made by me. Weapon wise, as long as its CC oriented then its all good.

Want me to paint my guy for you?

I'll need a week to finish off my first marine (I've had a truly terrible week and have had zero time for painting, so have fallen behind) for Lucifer, then I will start straight away on the Vanguard. I assume you want a jump pack on him? I know it's assumed, but I know some people run them in Rhinos... I ordered some jump packs from a bitz site last night, so they should be here soon.

I'll probably do a Mantis Warriors Vanguard, check out pictures of my sternguard for the helm design (in my blog thread). Do you like busy marines (pouches, grenades, holsters) or simple and clean lines?

And yes, I'm up for a trade with you

There are 4th edition codices, we're talking about 5th edition codices. Currently many armies lack an up to date codex which works with the new 5th Ed rules (which really tightened up the game compared to 4th ed).

Am I right in thinking the Tau codex came out pre 4th edition even? I know I have the latest one and it is ridiculously old...

Thanks sageheart. Unfortunately i only have 5 gk termies and their all going to whalemusic360, i do have a regular gk marine i can trade though.

Looks great chrono! You can leave them on bases if they are already there, but I will be changing the colors to match mine. I've done it with a bunch already, so not a big deal either way. What is the name of your GK based force btw? I cant remember seeing a name for them.

For everyone who I have traded with (quite a few of you), could you come up with a name for the marine you sent to me. I am currently working of some fluff with another dakkanaut, and it would be cool to get some flavor from the creators via names.

no thanks on the jumppack, its a ground and pound squad and busy is good by me. Also Ive liked your helmets so your pick on what one..

Sweet, glad to hear. Not sure what your refering to as name? I don't have a gk army. A friend was moving and sold me his gk stuff with an offer i couldn't refuse. I just felt like painting them. I can give them a name if you want? The reason i asked about the bases is because i'm gonna be using them for my ultramarines and if you already had bases id just keep em.
