What the hell, a GW model that hasn't been painted like a He-Man character?

GW, your standards are slipping.

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.

Also I dont think he muscle is growing over the leather strap, he simply has a strap high on his forarm and his bicep is pressing up on it. If you have ever given blood they put that tape around arm and if you bring your arm up your bicep covers it.

I think its executed well.

This picture is the closest thing I could find on the above (probably googling the wrong thing) and is what I expect to happen and is what happens to me with a strap in that position.

Spoiler:

I know the demon has bigger muscle but it looks off to me. Like the muscle is either sucking in the strap (ouch) or the muscle is grown over the strap (ouch).

Maybe its how it should look, I dunno.

The model is ok, looks good but I think part of it is thanks to the studio paintjob not ruining the model. Those often do imo.

Wasn't that revealed a while ago?

He's had his wrists slapped for constant off topic in this thread, so now he's trolling.

Sure but there's a bottom line of so much sigmarines and moar khorne is not exactly exciting either. Even if the former weren't, as someone from BOLS more eloquent than me put it, the Derpcast Derpdederpers with Derp Derpestant and Derpictor leading Derpicars with Derpstorm Derpbows and I liked them, I would still be bored to death at this point. It's all around a bit crappy release imo.

If that eye monster is where slaanesh models are going then I'm interested, so far slaanesh has been the most dull of the gods in terms of models.

They don't need 6!

I'd agree but the pallete and face don't suggest tzeench, no blues or wierd symbols, or magic bits and bobs, it looks strangely slaanesh, but we shall soon see, I hope we're both right! As each would be ok in my books!

Damn. I wish I collected Chaos, hahaha. That guy on the cover of #81 is worthy. They need a 40k version with some suitably ginormous gun.

The eye monster is definitely a cool piece of concept art, something i didnt expect from gw that's for sure. I suspect it has to do with tzeentch. Looks like a magic user kinda, and the multiple eyes are tzeentch's shtick.

Khorne model is freakin sweet too. I wish these kits corresponded to some rules in 40k, too.

I thought the same. I love that movie.

I like him! I guess all it will come down to now will be the price on this guy.

Also like creepy Tzeetnch eye man, hope that is translated into some stuff for that chaos god.

The axe is too big for my taste.

I know GW weapons (and most other Fantasy manufacturers weapons for that matter) have always been far larger than the real stuff and I realize that there are aestetical and practial reasons for it.

But this one crosses the invisible line towards Warmachine-esqe sillyness. My suspention of disbelief can't handle it.

Kinda like his other weapon but overall the model feels uninspired. The artwork of the guy with many eyes has potential though. Hopefully he'll get a model someday.

Just when I thought GW couldn't get any worse, they release something like this. Do they not have any artists left that have studied human anatomy? Or even seen a human being before?

A Tzeentchi champion model for this guy too maybe? Purely speculation at this point, but since GW seems to be on a "artwork of products only" vibe lately, it seems plausible?

Almost looks like a Khorne worshiper turned to Tzeentch. Looses his old eyes and new ones grow out of the helmet? Chaos champions switching gods isn't unheard of in the old fluff.

Really liking this one, pretty sure its not suppose to look normal and its not suppose to have human anatomy, its a daemon.
For me the less human they look the better, ive seen enough shiny gold sigmars to last me a lifetime, im glad we got to chaos, it could be better, but it looks as khornate as you can get even more so if you add the missing skulls !

Looking forward to seeing more as well if that picture is based on a model.

Yeah, I have no problem with the size of the weapon (Warhammer and 40K have always had stupidly-oversized weapons) but the fact that he has no way to wield it two-handed did immediately jump out.

Other than that, it's a cracking miniature.

This is the first multi-part plastic character for the Khorne Bloodbound, this is truly terrifying model holding a huge Runious Axe and ready to take on the forces of the Stormcast Eternals it will make a great addition to any customers Bloodbound force.

Also, a whole bunch of Nurgle units are getting repackaged/re-based.

Please... don't look like this (pretty please GW?):

A head swap and a Bloodletter sword and that would make a nifty Herald of Khorne

Im probably being too picky, but I do like to inspect models with scrutiny. It's part of the fun when buying models. I do feel like they strapped 2 of the wrong arms on the model though.

Ok, the Deathbringer of Khorne looks awesome, Definitely getting a couple for 40K Daemonkin. (I'll let you guess what i'm going to do with them)

But dang, that Tzeentch/Slaaneshi artwork... definitely came out of left field GW, definitely from left field.

I expect to see it In model form soon!

I don't want to sound rude here... but why get 2? They have the same pose and the same everything. Considering it is a character style model it seems kind of weird to have 2 clone models doing the exact same thing on the table. Unless you plan on changing it with green stuff etc. It's the same reason I made my own commissars a while ago, because I didn't want the same few GW ones being duplicates in the army.

Obviously i'm going to convert them into a set of Custom Daemon "Lieutenants" for my Daemonkin Army. IE Heralds/Lords of Chaos with Daemonic Gifts.

Hm the new khorne guy is actually a well done model. Yeah the axe is too big, but so is every other weapon. I'm glad he's decent enough to wear pants!

It almost looks like the strap is laced through his arm if you look at the top of the bicep.

That Khorne guy is amazing! Could've been a Mierce model, and an instant classic imo. Also, it is professionally painted and not slapped together in a couple of hours like so many GW paint jobs these days. Love be it, simply love it.
