Ok, I think I've finished practicing with brush, I understand the contrast thing better. It's time to return to my weathering and airbrush techniques.
I have for you WiP from tomorrow, airbrush job (yes, this 19$ one), about 3 hours of painting (work during second Pirates of the Caribbean).

I would love to see a step by step from you, that BA looks incredible, I am not usually a fan of the pinkish highlight on red, but yours looks amazing and done just right.
Is the highlighting pattern on the chest a happy accident of Zenithal style, or did you expressly darken the upper chest under the collar?

Ah it could be any old color, just curious -
1- how many colors you are using for a red or blue or whatnot. looks to me like I would guess 3?
2 - where you are placing your ab passes per step/color change
3 - if you are, as I am guessing, doing zenithal and then doing some selective masking and doing aesthetic highlights with the ab as well.
