I have been playing an insane amount of mordheim.

It is awesome...

Subsequently I have building scenery. Making a Castle currently. These are all distractions from my main goal. P and Modelling.

However. I have incentive to paint up my warbands...

So my halflings are getting some paint on.

In honour of Glenn Cook...I am creating The Black Pudding Company.

I am playing a mage called Silent in an upcoming D&D campaign.. mainly because when I start talking my troupe gets into trouble so I decided to play mute for a while

Actually....the Black Pudding Company are pretty lethal! Many due to the three piggies they have (Eeny, Meanie, and Miny)

They've won 3 of 3 I think.

Also playing a mage at the mo in a DandD campaign...called Washbreeze...based on a character of a similar name. His tactic: Run Away.

So. I was supposed to paint just 10 Halflings in a week (not much really). And I have failed. Sigh.

Wow!

I am so slow these days! Excuses galore, but basically my painting has died a death as I am busy working...playing warhammer...and renovating my flat.

Warhammer playing! I probably haven't played this much ever! Some weekends...and every monday night! The Makati Marauders (some pics below) are doing well. I've been making a lot of terrain, and currently I am knocking up some final pieces...a realm of battle board!

Even though my painitng que extends into 2050 (at this rate...i'll finish when I am 1000...)...I've succesfully purchased a Ogre Kingdoms box, and a Orc Battalion, a Finecast Golfang, and I am looking at getting just one or two more pieces....maybe from forgeworld. And I am still trying to get all the regiments of reknown/Dogs of War units/Characters.


Of course...none of these are painted.

But...the Halflings are coming along slowly, and as my girlfirend is away till the end of the month, and after friday my next deadline is Nov 1, I may actually be able to do some painting!!!


Anyway!

Finally...some pictures! Most of them from the Makati Marauders nights...but on the last one you can see some of my halflings in action, caught in the flank by a band of gobbos. (I love to roleplay my battles, so, despite the fact that my Manok's knew they'd be charged the wheeled to fire on a lone wolf rider charging at their steaming hot spoup launcher). And failed to do any damage.

However: for your reference Halfling Hot Pot is deadly...takes out a average of 10 guys per turn so far!!! for 50pts!

Good to hear from you again manok. Hey, at least if you're playing you're getting some hobby time in, and sounds like you're having fun.

Your surf shop's not called Kilgore's is it? (responding on the wrong thread, but I'm not one to stand on ceremony )

i read abou that surfshop too.... didn´t that colonel say charly doens´t surf???^^ and did they really film that movie in your area....didn´t knew that....

Hey Monkey Troll...no it is called Charlie Does Surf...but we have a board in production called Kilgores...and I am thinking of doing a zombified Kilgore ala Eddie from Iron Maiden for character kinda thing...

Vik: Yep. Quite a few scenes are shot in the area we are in...well..all the surf scences, and most of the beach, water ones...and it is good to be back! Monday is a whole day of painting!
