Glorious Lord of Chaos

The burning pits of Hades, also known as Sweden in summer

A blue hole in reality opens suddenly. Swirling like a whirlpool, for a split second another entire world is seen in its center- and then it abruptly closes, disgorging a small shape that crashes down to the ground with a low curse.

Ashiraya rose to her feet, brushing off dust from her rune-covered armour. 'I'm going to kill that mage. Clumsiest portal I've ever seen...'
She looked at her surroundings and saw the utter havoc of various unnameable creatures battling one another.

'...What in the name of %#@*?'

After a considerable amount of time, and no small amount of daemonic hijinks, a Warp portal finally formed in this new world, spitting out two figures. The first stood to dust himself off, while the second struggled to release the contents of his stomach,
'Let it go Hepps. It's almost like you've never travelled by Warp before.'
'Not without the - ' Authrix grimaced as yellow bile poured from the man's mouth. 'Are you finished?' He asked as Hepps pulled himself upright. The latter nodded. 'Good. Now...' He took a sweeping view; an almost utterly barren desert. 'Where are we?'
'Wouldn't know sir.'
'Of course.' Authrix shrugged. 'It matters naught. We shall head west, until we find something of import.'
'"Of import", sir?'
'Something to...' He paused, realising he wasn't sure himself. 'Something. we'll know when we find it.'

Ashiraya blinks. Another portal? She wasn't going to pretend that she understood what was happening in the slightest, but maybe others had ended up here mistakenly. Maybe, just maybe, it was not entirely that useless mage's fault. She watched two shapes emerge from the portal. She shrugged. If nothing else, they might know what exactly is going on.

As she approached, she carefully studied their appearance. They looked like nothing she had ever seen. At least they seemed humanoid, which sufficed for her to try communication.

'You there. Greetings. Do you know what is going on here?'

Using information provided by Khorne, Skulltaker learned that his own blade would not be able to strike Ganondorf down as he was protected with the same sort of aura that the phoney Ganondorf had. He needed to recover an artifact of this world named the Master Sword which is located in a temple known as the Temple of Time.

However, Slaanesh also knows of this and has fed the same information to Esmeralda. The two gods send their legions of lesser daemons against each other outside the temple hoping to create an opening for their respective champion.

Arden was the first to react, swinging his lasgun up level to the woman's head. Authrix shrugged.
'Settle down, nothing we've not dealt with before.' He faced the woman, hands behind his back. 'Haven't the foggiest.' He turned, walking away. 'Feel free to join us if you wish. As long as you are loyal to humanity, I have no quarrel.'
'Sir, are you sure-'
'Did I stutter, Arden?'
'No sir.'
Authrix nodded at the stormtrooper as he began pacing away. 'Don't fall behind.'

Ashiraya nodded quickly. 'Certainly.' She decided not to tell them just how many humans she had actually killed in her days, or that she did not actually know what 'humanity' meant in this world. But getting enemies this early was not a good idea and it wasn't like they could ever find out. So she rested her axe on her shoulder and decided to follow them, hoping that her long Blood Elf ears were not too suspicious to the humans.

The Eye of Terror

He looked down towards the distant battle between mongrels from high up in the air.

"What a disgraceful sight..." he muttered.

The King of Heroes rode upon a shining bright ‘ark’ made of gold and emerald, 500 meters above the ground.

Gate of Babylon – the treasury of Gilgamesh, the primeval hero who once owned all of the treasures in the world, stored within it the original forms of many treasures that were praised by the legends and myths of latter men. The golden ark that he is using to float in the air is also one of those 'divine secret treasures'. Indeed, this is the flying contraption that was passed from Babylon to India and recorded in the two epic sagas Ramayana and Mahabharata as the "Vimana".

"Although they’re mongrels, they should be worrying about common enemies at the very least... I wouldn’t have thought that they’ve fallen as low as fighting each other despite the danger to this world. There should be a limit to deplorability." he shrugged, looking from the sky and then to the battle far below him. Guidance was not something he'd offer to these fools, though perhaps a quick display to let them know their place would be in order. This battle was going nowhere and he at least needed to ease his boredom.

The Vimana moved like a shooting star, directly above the centre of the conflict with the most numbers battling each other. What would happen if there was an attack that forcibly separated the combatants from each other?

"Lashing dreams together and aspiring for tyranny... I will praise your enthusiasm. But brave soldiers, have any of you discerned it? This pointless charade of a battle. Allow me to show you the truth." he muttered silently, rising up from his sitting position from the Vimana and stared down at the battlefield below. A golden ripple in space appeared in front of him as Gilgamesh appeared to pull out a sword from mid-air.

Could it really be called something as specialized as a 'sword'? It was a weapon of far too abnormal a shape. There was a grip and a hand guard, and its length was about that of a longsword. But the crucial section where the 'blade' should have been assigned deviated far too much from the form of an edged weapon. It was a dull blade with a pillar made of three sections lined up, and a tip which spun in a spiral shape. The three pillar sections were like querns, slowly continuing to rotate in alternation.

Gilgamesh held his hand high above his head, and the sword of the beginning gradually increased the speed of its revolutions. Faster with each rotation, ever faster... The three quern-like cylinders, acting in concert with the movement of the Heavens, revolved as each creaked with a weight and power equivalent to a tectonic movement. The enormous amount of seething and overflowing energy was beyond measurement. Even those below should be able to detect this new source of energy, coming from right above them. Though 500 meters above them, the light from the sword would be dazzling to behold even if one could not see it properly. To those below, it was a new star in the sky being blocked by a strange, golden flying machine.
