Azwraith stumbled again, the remenants of Bane's Nightmare still gnawing away at his mind. The pikeman was now bearing the brunt of the nightmare, as it ate away at sanity. Grimly, he sat down, and pulled his diffusal blade out of it's sheath. Placing it in his lap, he closed his eyes, and diffused himself with the blades power, purging the nightmare.
His scream was heard for leagues around.

Before he could reach the angel, Skulltaker felt himself vanishing from the realm. Khorne was removing him and his legion from that world. Despite his sour disappointment, he knew better than to question the Blood God's commands.
The flame on the Hulk's back flickered and died leaving only a scar.
Back on the Brass Citadel in the Realm of Chaos, Skulltaker and his force deposited the skulls of those who they did manage to slay. Khorne was not angry at his servants, but he was disappointed at having sent them in at a late stage of the pandemonium that ensued in that realm. However, he sensed carnage developing in a totally new realm and whisked Skulltaker and his force away so that they may cash in on the chaos earlier.
He sent Skulltaker into this realm alone. Landing on an overlook on a supermassive space station of sorts, he noticed a gunfight ensuing below him. Skulltaker was no coward, but he knew that charging directly at massed fire would get him nowhere as the people of this realm seemed to favor guns. Khorne then bestowed a gift on Skulltaker to give him an edge: rapid firing beams shot from the daemon's eyes, no stronger than the small arms fire from the mortals' guns below, but much more accurate due to Skulltaker's sharp sight.
He was soon confronted by some Asari C-sec personnel. Guns trained on him, they commanded he drop his weapon.

"Walking vending machines." Raiden said as he walked among those sent to kill him. Bullets couldn't touch him and he was the harbinger of death.
His blade cut through their flesh like it was butter, he sliced the arm clean off the first man, before severing his spine with a brutal second slice. Another tried to make a grab for him, Raiden grabbed him by the throat and broke his neck with a flick of his wrist, he threw the man backwards with enough force to turn his shattered body into pulp.
This was going to be a good battle, Raiden smiled as he hacked a bloody path of destruction.

Skulltaker took the Asari's disarmament demand as a challenge. He stood calmly for a second before shooting his fiery gaze at them. Biotic shields prevented serious damage, but the daemonic flashes did disorient them. Following through, he darted forward slashing the blue skinned aliens with his daemonic blade, their biotic shield being useless against his flaming sword of daemonic rage.
One was left standing. She tried to disorient him with a biotic blast, but Skulltaker felt no effect on him; Khorne's blessing has made his champion resistant to the effects of psykers and the Asari's abilities were weak. In one swing, the tentacled head was severed from the body in a shower of purple blood.
After collecting the skulls, Skulltaker sprinted off into the station, eventually coming across another gunfight in what looked like a shopping mall area.

''This is sport! There is no challenge among chattel.'' Ra laughed as his powered scythe practically cut one of the Citadels security in half, the powered blade cutting through force shield and armour as if it was paper. Viscera was flung everywhere as Ra made another lightning movement, bisecting some newly arrived guards, Ra felt invincible. He was faster, impossibly so, moving before the humans could register the already lightning fast elder, and stronger to, while the Xenos primitive weaponry was useless against Ra's armour. Ra was originally using his Megetar, but swiftly grew tired of entire waves of souls being broken as psy-shard shurikans cut through body and bone with ease. Ra wondered what the shielding was even for, because it offered little protection to Ra and Bane. Ra swung back and forth in tight arcs, a whirl wind of gore. ''While slaughtering lesser breeds has always been a pass time of mine, what purpose brings us here you think Bane? Are there anymore gods to vanquish, cities to flatten? I feel like I could accomplish anything!''

"Maybe we are here to make our own sport, and we will. But first, we'll have to find better opponents, and to do that we'll need to advertise our existance, and I know exactly how."
Atropos formed a great swirling black fire and released it onto the C-sec troops, killing almost a dozen and maiming any others nearby. A rocket streaked by as reinforcements armed with heavy ballistic weapons arrived, taking cover behind broken walls, burnt out ruins and wrecked vehicles. Bane swung a fistful of fire at the newcomers, snarling and spitting curses as the C-Sec forces renewed their desperate defence, shouting into radio's and ordering evacuations. A trio of sniper rounds phased through the elementals inky form, causing Bane to burst out laughing as he watched his would-be assassins take up new positions. He bellowed out a series of spells, curses and hexes onto the C-sec, jamming weapons, collapsing lungs, ripping out souls and leaving others dried out husks.

Observing the gun battle, Skulltaker saw the C-sec engaging a pack of ravenous aliens: the vorcha of the Blood Pack gang. Despite their limited intellect evident from their simple running forward and shooting tactics, Skulltaker sensed a savage rage among these aliens and saw an opportunity. Like the Orks, these aliens most likely follow the strongest member of their gang. If he could find and kill this individual, a cult to Khorne in this realm could be established which would further expand the Blood God's influence.
Both C-sec and the Blood Pack packed a lot of heavy fire power though and the Daemon Champion would have to whittle down the C-sec numbers to accurately pick out the leader of the Blood Pack. Though not exactly his style, Skulltaker chose to make a series of hit and run attacks at C-sec. Running forward, he cut down three men before dashing into an abandoned store to evade incoming fire. He made his way to the back of the store, rounds deflecting off his armor and barely dodging a rocket propelled grenade.
Going through the back rooms of the shops, he found his way back to the main hallway of the mall where the gunfight against the vorcha continued. Skulltaker repeated this process several times before C-sec decided to fall back.
The Blood Pack advanced but did not fire upon Skulltaker to his surprise. A lumbering figure, larger and bulkier than the rest of the aliens, clad in much heavier looking armor, and wielding a high caliber machine gun approached the Daemon.
"I am Weyrloc Ventnor and I lead this bloodthirsty pack of parasites.", spoke the krogan warlord.
"Well, that was easy.", Skulltaker thought to himself.
"You've got a quad cutting in on our action, you weird looking alien.", said Ventnor. "What do you want?"
Raising his blade again, the daemon replied "I want your skull and I want your warband."

A siren went throughout the entirety of the citadel to signal that it was under attack, though not by those who were rampaging on it, no, something else. Something that the Citadel was so terrified of it started to make the preparations to close it's petal bloom like structure to stop them from getting in.
To those with access to viewports or the various screens and holoprojectors showing what was going on outside the citadel in the serpent nebula, they would see a massive number of ships suddenly stop from some sort of faster than light system, or more correctly, decelerate out from it, and begin bull rushing towards the Citadel, brushing aside the fleet guarding it as they moved in for the kill.
The largest of these ships, roughly the size of a particularly large escort by the standards of the natives of Ra or Skulltaker's galaxy, came in full throttle, smashing aside virtually everything it encountered like so much chaffe. The vessel, rsembling nothing more than a purple metallic cuttlefish, immediately gunned for the center of the citadel[/url] while the geth ships dropped off their troops and soldiers before engaging in the horribly one sided duel with the citadel guard fleet.
The reaper sovereign then paused as it latched onto the central node of the citadel and worked it's way through the data, detecting the presence of extramultiversal entities, something they had warned it and it's kind about.
"You are here...rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh, weldings of the same, beings of thought and hate. They have warned us about your meddling in our harvest." Sovereign said, it's blood red holographic avatar seeming to focus dead on the nearest extramultiversal interferer, while to the citadel natives, it'd seem to just ignore them even as the robotic Geth started to arrive on the citadel in large numbers in service to their master.

Raising his machine gun, Ventnor opened up on Skulltaker who in turn darted to the side, cleaving through a couple of vorcha to take cover in a shop.
Pausing his fire, Ventnor gloated "You are no match for me! Come out and fight!"
Immediately, Skulltaker lept from cover and shot his blinding gaze at the krogan before following through with a quick slash that destroyed his machine gun. He allowed Ventnor to recover for a truly fair fight.
Enraged at this point, the krogan warlord grabbed a large hammer, similar in size and function to the thunder hammers in the 41st millenium, sheathed behind his back. Sweeping forward, he swung his hammer with enough force to flip a logging truck. But Skulltaker was faster, dodging the swing and returning wish a slash that seared his flesh. He swung back around with another blow that the daemon simply leaped over.
The fight continued for several minutes. The krogan was resilient and Skulltaker continued to dodge and parry his blows. Finally, the daemon's blade cleaved through the alien's left arm. Stunned, he was open for another cleave. This time on his left leg. Now on the ground, Skulltaker made short work of his other two appendages before placing his palm over Ventnor's face. Uttering the eight words of sacrifice, the alien's face was consumed with flame that burned furiously for several minutes. The vorcha could only look in awe at this display. Finally, only skull remained which the daemon wrenched off with a few with a few twists.
Standing triumphantly before the vorcha, Skulltaker announced "Here me, savages! Your leader was weak. I can show you how to wield true power, for I am a herald of the Blood God Khorne!" The vorcha looked at him slightly confused. The idea of worship was not something they were familiar with.
Suddenly, the station was wracked with a shockwave. Sensing a greater foe, he commanded the vorcha "Worshiping the Blood God is simple. Follow me and I will show you." He then lead them down the hall toward the insurgent geth.

Ra would of continued, but the shocked stupor of the Natives was broken into a raising cacophony of shouts and screams as robotic attack droids landed amongst the city, putting building and body to torch. Ra recognised the weapons as roughly tau like weapon systems, judging by sound alone. They arrived in groups, acting in military patterns using cover to there best advantage before firing on the C-Secs with devastating efficiently. Shots pinged off Ra's ornate armour, spurring him to hop into cover, the scorch marks rapidly disappearing from Ra's armour. Ra turned and braced the Maugetar against the cover before arcing shots over the heads of the Security into the newly arrived Geth. Shurikans made impossible turns as Ra guided them with witchsight, spinning round and over cover to slice into Geth hide. While they had little flesh to lacerate, several shurikans in the neck will be certain to ruin anyones day...

Arriving before a large geth force, Skulltaker and the vorcha immediately attacked them. "Strike them down! Kill them with rage and vengeance! Spill their blood for the Blood God!", he zealously commanded.
The geth, being inorganic, did not have real blood, but leaked a white liquid when severely damaged which was close enough for the simple minded vorcha to substitute. Several fell to the geth's pulse fire, but many more came to replace them gunning down the geth from a distance or ripping them apart with their claws up close.
Skulltaker himself noticed that he wasn't taking much fire from the geth. In truth, the geth had trouble understanding what he even was. He wasn't an organic creature and in fact didn't even seem to be natural at all. Their confusion gave Skulltaker an opening to slice them in two pieces. The vorcha admired the daemon's skill in combat and continued following him further through the station.

"These are mechanical monstrosities, with no soul or being. Let's deal with them quickly and move onto the populace next" Atropos exclaimed as he felled the remaining C-sec's with dark energy. The elemental sunk back into cover as the new arrivals made their own response, the Geth troopers blasting away at Atropos in an attempt to drive him back, only to have whatever sense of intelligence they possessed snuffed out as Bane cast forth alien energy that caused their forms to wither and falter.

Coming with the fleet of geth was strangely, a fleet of Decepticons who smashed into the citadel like meteors in their protoforms, transforming outwards and scanning the vehicles nearby to assume new alt modes, while those already capable of flight streaked overhead to engage in bombing runs and lethal attacks, and some elected to keep their modern earth or cybertronian modes. Also following them were the Cybernetic chitauri, who had joined this growing army of...
Well, Ulutraxites is what Rose decided to call them as they restarted their attack in earnest, joining the Geth and the terrible menace of the zombie like husks pouring out from transports and Sovereign itself. Most worryingly, those who had been aligned to the Ulutraxi now bore a terrible sigil on them. A central eye on a somewhat tear drop like head that broke into three prongs with a crown of smaller eyes, and maws to devour a universe below it.
They clearly weren't interested in hiding. Only wanton destruction as the Chitauri, Husks, and Decepticons joined the Geth in their wanton destruction, with Sovereign himself being flanked by four reaper destroyers, apparently having been forewarned of the danger these interferers posed to the harvest, all of which bore signs of upgrades and modifications. It seems that the Ulutraxites were starting to share their technology and use it to add onto one another, build onto one another.
And a series of them were outside, threatening to barge into the life support room as husks moved out like a tide of nanite altered flesh, while Geth kept to military tactics, the Chitauri hewing closer to perhaps somewhat older tactics, the scrin showing a deep understanding of their own unique form of warfare, and the Decepticons moving in as more individuals due to their greater power and rarity.

Ra leapt over his cover, ducking and rolling with extraordinary speed having deducted that as creatures that thought in codes, logic would dictate that the Geth would fire at where they calculated him to move to. But Ra was anything but predictable, springing over cover and behind obstructions, into and out sight. Ra ran into the crowd of fleeing citizens, Geth fire scything them down. When the last body fell, Ra was no longer there. Ra dropped silently behind the Geth lines, stalking up until he was just within arms reach. Ra didn't need that far. He layed into them with power scythe cutting in large arcs, dissecting entire groups of Geth with each swing. He moved from group to group like quicksilver, laying into the next group even before the shattered remains of there companions hit the floor. The Geth started a tactical retreat, trying to make range so there weaponary would be effective, Ra was driving them into Banes eager hands.
New enemies where joining the fray, Chitauri where gunning down all they came in contact with and massive meteors where being hurled earthwards, no doubt bring more destruction. Not even the dead stayed dead, hundreds of shambling, circuit inlayed corpses where shambling along, herding the populace into the guns of the metallic hostiles. Ra was beginning to become interested as he turned and shot down an advancing group of Chitauri, forcing them to take cover hard.
''It seems the mechanical machinations of our foe are coming to fruition, and we seem to be at the centre of it. We should re-group with the others, as loath as I am to say it, but we are grazing grox out here while hell rains down among us.'' Ra spoke casually, as if he didn't care if they really followed through with the plan, simply happy to fight here till he ran out of enemies. But Ra knew he wasn't to be that lucky, fate still had plans for them. And yet, Fate wasn't the only one conspiring against them.

Raiden smiled as the last of the C-Sec ran off. Wiping his blade clean of the blood he took note of the new alien force that was beginning to attack the Citadel.
"See you around, I have some killing to do." Raiden told his companions before leaving them alone. They always seemed to bring trouble with them no matter where he went.
The space station seemed to be under heavy attack, the corridors were filled with some kind of UG. They seemed to attack in waves, which made Raiden's job far to easy. Then all of a sudden he heard a massive crash coming from above.
Raiden had broken into one of the massive gardens that made up the more pleasing parts of the Citadel. Descending from the ceiling, roaring with all it's glory, was a Metal Gear REX.
"Metal Gear!" Raiden shouted, but the massive beast had no interest in Raiden. Missiles blaring, machine guns screaming and hull laser moaning, REX was cutting a horrible swathe through the creatures known as the Geth. Someone friendly was obviously piloting the REX, and Raiden had no intention of bring it's attention to him. Even he would have problems against such a machine.
In a strange twist of fate, this REX still had its Rail gun. Last time Raiden saw the creature, it was disabled and the Rail gun had been stolen by Ocelot. Raiden hacked his way through the Geth, enjoying the slaughter with his Metal Gear ally.

The C-Sec ran in behind him, guns blazing. The rounds ricocheting off his shoulder guard. Azwraith smiled, then leapt forward, willing out a pair of phantoms midair. The C-Sec, obviously frightened by this display, turned to flee, and were cut off by the merciless pikeman and his phantoms. The phantom lancer eased into a sprint, and swung his pike, gutting three men as they ran. Another was run through with the shaft, and a further two were kicked down, both with significant cranial damage. On either side of him, his phantoms reaped and cut. A half-dozen soldiers still stood. Azwraith laughed, and sent out a spirit lance. The men were cut down where they stood by the phantom unleashed by the lance. Azwraith stood easy, seeing the carnage unleashed by he and his phantoms. He was getting better. Much better.

Bane had sated himself on the lives of the C-sec sent against him, and thus was prepared for the hard fight ahead against those with no soul or will to sap, to feed upon. The heaviest hitters where mindless machines or emotionless robots, which Atropos loathed to admit he had little to counter with. The elemental moved through the rubble and carnage as the bombing runs of skimmers and fighter craft ended, replaced with swarms of drop-ships and carriers flooding the skies and unleashing an array of deadly troops. He moved alongside 'Ra as they came to another social centre, now covered by rubble and flame as smoke rose into the air. Chitauri and Geth had advanced into it and had seemingly stopped, obviously searching the rubble for survivors or loot. Bane moved ahead, drawing up wards of sorceress energy to protect him from the projectiles of the enemy before creating new magical missiles to fling and cast onto his unaware foes. The unaware xenos bolted to attention as several of their comrades were cast down as Atropos burnt away flesh and melted armour.

Bane was blazing a way forward, forswearing cover, putting trust into daemonic wards to shield him from fire. Bane weathered the assault before launching one of his own, sorcerous bolts melting metal and burning away bodies. 'Ra came in his wake, using the Shadow's Wards as moving cover. Bane lead the frontal assault while 'Ra turned on the spot, surveying all angles and cutting down newly arriving combatants with swift volleys of shurikan fire as and when his super human hearing pinpointed where they would emerge.
Bane broke the back of the resistance, his cackling curses taking hold even on these inorganic forms. And then they had closed and the battle shifted dramatically in their favour, as soon as he hit striking distance Ra sprung over Bane, moving like quicksilver amongst the ranks of metallic monsters, disrupting their ranks and forcing them to run. They where easy targets for Banes ravenous attentions.
Then it his him, a tidal wave of bloodlust and frenzy filled his mind and left the taste of blood in his mouth. Ra wasn't sure what he felt by this, familiar sensation. Glad to of found something he found familiar, or cautious of what he new followed in its wake. A bestial roar uttered from hundreds of inhuman throats that sent psykic shock waves of bloodlust.
Ra could feel it from here, the Blood Tide was here, it was coming, and It planned to drown the citadel in its own blood.

The Decepticons were placed in readiness all over the station, just waiting to spring out and attack, the Ulutraxi had given them new purpose, and they would obey their new masters, just as the newest pawn of the Ulutraxi would. The Reaper destroyers, each being about a hundred and sixty meters tall, each sought out their own landing spots to sow more terror while Husks, Geth, Scrin, Chitauri, and now Decepticons were spread across the station.
Luckily though, it seemed that only the Scrin's shielding was effective against energy weapons of any sort, while the others could only have their shields deflect and resist the impact of purely kinetic weaponry. But the Decepticons seemed to have both kinetic bariers and scrin attenuated shielding, which made them dangerously tough opponents as they sought out to slaughter as much as they can, bringing the corpses back to huge spikes where they would be converted into more husks.
Sovereign itself seemed to be lazily hanging in the center of the station as the geth, scrin, chitauri, and decepticon ships outside seemed to be floating around the citadel like sharks. More of the enemy kept on going into the opening right at the front of the citadel, their vessels streaming through the space with incredible agility and speed to constantly pour out more vile creatures to fight.
John and Rose, both on watch duty, seemed to look on before they were joined by Prophet and Samus. "We're going to need an army to fight them off..." Samus said before Rose thought.
"We have a few on call..." She said as she came to a realization.
"Samus, I need you to initiate contact. Inform them that we must come together and communicate, find a way to stop that vessel from accomplishing whatever it is it seeks." Rose said as Samus immediately started a communique through her hyperwave communicators, speaking to everything not under the mark of the Ulutraxi, though the Daemons were unlikely to hear it.
"May we have your attention? Eldar, Droids, Imperials, Americans, and Citadel natives, we are currently in the midst of a grand crisis against a foe that has already worked out the difficulties in their alliance. If we wish to survive, we must band together and fight them as one. We need to unite in one locaiton and formulate a plan to counter Sovereign and it's helpers." Rose said over the wavelengths.

Bane and Ra had dealt with the vile xenos that had once flooded the area with their numbers, now they lay in peaces and pools of blood and broken bone after a single fire fight with the Phoenix Lord and Elemental, and while his feed was limited to the Chitauri Atropos had still left the Geth molten pools. He snarled as a messaged surged through the airwaves, which he'd tapped into, after taking some tips from Tinkerer and Rattletrap after visiting their dreams.

Azwraith had located them. Having stalked through the trail of destruction and the stench of the Bane Elemental, he had finally located his adversaries.Atropos and another, presumably an elf of some kind (who Atropos refered to as 'Ra') were deep in conversation, the bodies of various solders strewn before them. Seeing that neither the Bane Elemental nor the Space Elf were facing him, Azwraith crept forward, Diffusal Blade drawn. Creeping up behind Ra, he spotted a weak point in his armour. Azwraith smiled, and rammed the diffusal blade into Ra's armour, penetrating the flesh beneath, activating it and purging Ra. He willed out the phantoms he had used to deal with the C-Sec, and sent them after Atropos. The pikeman gritted his teeth, willing out yet more phantoms to surround the phoenix lord. "We Challenge you, Elf", the Phantom Lancer said. With no interference from your dire friend."

'Ra looked down at the primitive spear protruding from his chest, and laughed. ''It will take a lot more then that, kitty, to end me. Much greater beings have failed, but I will indulge your curiosity as to feel my blade.'' Pure, binding soullight was leaking out around the shaft of the spear, enveloping it in burning psykic energy as it crumbled indo dust. The armour had already created a thin sheen of material around the wound to keep the assembled souls within.
Ra paused, letting Asrwraith become amazed at the blinding light show, then twirled his scythe in a large arc, driving the phantoms back a few precious steps. ''Ha, you are allowed allies and I am not? Your chopped logic will end with a chopped body! Bane, help me deal with this kitty litter!'' Ra shot a hundred shurikans into the space he had created, a solid wall of slicing death zooming towards what he believed to be the real phantom.

"You should have stayed with your ancient to die Asrwraith, but I'll be happy to put you down if you are trouble." Bane raised an outstretched hand and spoke the words of curse and cast enfeeble upon the Lancer assailing 'Ra, watching as his movements became slower and clumsier, weighed upon by the curse of Atropos. The Elemental thing laughed as he swept the away the illusions that came to the lancers aide, using bolts and arcs of black magic to disintegrate or annihilate them.

Azwraith laughed utop Ra's shoulders "Really? You thought that was the real phantom?" He smiled. "You may have destroyed my Pike, but I have still have this." He unsheathed his diffusal blade, and plunged the diffusal blade into his neck.

Geth quickly adapt to new challenges and foes and forced more fire on the anomaly from unreality as he lead the vorcha through the Citadel. Finally, Skulltaker found himself before a Geth Prime. Easily twice the size as he was and armed with a powerful pulse cannon. Firing a single shot, it landed a direct hit on the daemon knocking him backward several meters and landing him on his back. His daemonic resilience kept him from being blasted into several pieces, but Skulltaker knew he had to recover and defeat this powerful foe before the vorcha saw weakness in him. Rising quickly, he dodged the next blast and began his charge at the large robot.

Bane scowled and raised his arms in the air as he cast Fiends Grip upon the assailing Lancer, forcing him to the ground and away from 'Ra. The Phoenix Lord raised his great scythe and opened fire on the immobilised Lancer...

Having received data from the dismantled geth, the Geth Prime viewed the daemon as a muscular two legged humanoid engulfed in a raging fire. As it shot him, the flame flickered and died down; but when he rose again, the flames engulfed him again and seemed to grow larger than before.
The flames represented Skulltaker's rage. With a series of wrathful swings, he cut the Prime apart. He now stood triumphantly atop the machine's dismembered husk in a pool of white liquid. Seeing this, the vorcha gathered around him. One of them began repeatedly saying "Blood for the Blood God!" Several more joined before gradually the whole group was chanting it.
Skulltaker smiled at the work he has done in this realm. With each recitation of "Blood for the Blood God!", reality around the daemon seemed to throb. The Reaper Sovereign immediately felt that something was amiss. He turned to face the corridor that Skulltaker was in. There happened to be a window for them to see each other and they stared each other down before Sovereign at last spoke.

"You are not of flesh and blood, but of hate and thought. You possess abilities not possible by physics, why do you fight against them? Why resist the oncoming storm of burning realities and dying universes? This will be but one of many. You cannot resist us, you cannot hope to stop us. So why fight?" Sovereign asked the Daemon as it noted the systems alliance fleet dropping down from the mass relay, directing the geth to fight them while it and it's reaper destroyer escort continued to lie within the citadel in readiness.
Meanwhile, Prophet was eyeing a complete alchemiter dropped by John.
"So you're telling me this thing can copy something, or even take several things and make a new version that combines them? And that it grants powers that have as much to do with perception as it does reality?" Barnes asked as Rose was looking over the captcha codes of the various destroyed geth, chitauri, decepticons, C-sec, and Scrin items of technology.
"Yep! Pretty nifty huh? Rose thinks we can improve our gear with it!" John said with a beaming overbite bearing smile.
"Count me in, I could use some upgrades." Prophet said while Samus nodded.
"We all could, especially if we're going to beat these "Ulutraxi" if they're as powerful as they say." Samus said as she leaned on a wall.
