Not surprisingly, several of those who banded together are friends/frequent online chat buddies/DOOMFART associates.

No Werewolf worshipping cultists no sir.

I voted to harvest barley. I was suspicious of the alliance between the group (but tried to join in nonetheless).

It was too late I figured out purplefood was a werewolf.

The most votes for MrDWhitey occurred due to them being associated outside the forums.

Simply put the more cohesive group "won" the game.

Not surprising as we lost two people in one night earlier in the game.

Well, on to the next village.

Can we name it Yaksfacenhoff?

Nobody read the OP very thoroughly, it seems.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

For all intents and purposes though, sabotaging the game for the werewolf side counts you against the rest of the group. Not much better than the werewolves.

Of course, its all a game and we move on !

In all fairness, they didn't know I was a werewolf until last night, when we'd already won. I simply used their plans to cover our tracks.

I knew that it was possible to have two werewolves but the low body count lulled my suspicions.

There was probably little chance that anyone but Dwhitey was ever going to be the Braumeister.

It actually benefits the Werewolf(s) to not attack every night. Yes, killing people gets you closer to winning the game, but it also depletes your buffer of suspicion.

You'd be correct in your assumption.

His going away for the weekend really helped both throw suspicion off of him and lend credence to the belief that there was only one werewolf.

Nobody having read this part:
the Werewolf or Werewolves must send a PM to the moderator with the name of the living player they want to kill that night (one per night regardless of the number of Werewolves); if the moderator only receives one PM, the player named in that PM will be considered the target
of the OP helped a lot, too. For those in game 2, 1 kill does not = 1 werewolf.

There is a very rational reason but it is no longer relevant in Game 2.

So now let us commence the slaughter yet again.

This was way too much fun the first go around.

Now that it's over, I assume us normies can post here...I suspected Whitey if being a werewolf from the beginning: anyone who called him turned up dead. It was too suspicious, and maybe that's why everyone let him slide: he was so obvious that it couldn't be him. I still would have lynched him day two.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Read the DCM thread, there's a reason for that.

Also, vote me Braumaster for the next town, I have halberds and pole arms for our guards and not wimpy swords that require you to get within reach of stinky dogs!

Platuan4th, a Braumaster that cares!

It was important that he stayed braumaster, mainly for the continued existence of mine and Alex's cover. He always had at least 4 votes (himself, purple, alex, and me) and we relied on the complete lack of organisation amongst the other villagers to keep him in. So long as we voted in a braumaster and harvested crops, we'd instantly be under less suspicion. Losing three villagers in the first day/night pretty much sealed that entire part of the plan. A braumaster wasn't necessary, but whitey and purple's continued existence was, for whitey could be voted in again later. With the three deaths in the first day/night, and 4 votes secure on whitey's side, neither he nor purple could ever be hanged unless alex and me withdrew our support. We controlled their existence.

Some of us simply wanted to do our own thing for the sake of the thing. I was so enwrapped in pretending to be a horrible writer and harvest of barley that I barely paid any mind to the politics of the village.

kronk wanted to be drunk.

2 others died way too early to have any impact.

Let that be a lesson: vote or be lynched/mauled by werewolf.

I mainly hoped that people would immediately think d-usa is in on something because he opposed what was, at the time, a majority vote for braumaster, and would instead vote for whitey to secure the position. With CustomLime - d-usa's most vocal supporter - ending up dead, it seemed fairly logical that people would assume that siding with him meant death. After day/night 2, whitey's vote for braumaster could never fail.

EDIT: To add to the siding with d-usa = death, it was clear that the hunter had his eyes set upon d-usa's side, too, since he was the one who offed CustomLime. That couldn't have lent them much legitimacy.
