Im back in, just picked up Civilians and the cable climbing Forelorn Hope team.
I'm trying to get a starter thru a LGS but im not sure if this is distrubed in stores?

My aspirations are to run a starter demo protecting running civilians at a tournament in California later this year.

If your LGS can't do it, then you can pop right to Ironclad Games website and get it. http://quietmartianfront.com/shop/

Thanks bud. Yes i can order via mini market I'm a loyal fan of theirs.
Just asked this on their forum -- is starter set still considered balanced for demos?

I will pipe in my opinion. I think this is a scenario game, and the scenario in the starter set is lacking. Pointswise I think it is relatively close, but it depends on if you make the tanks MkII or MkIII and if you give the Tripods special gear.

I have an actual review of the game at my blog in my sig if you want my full thoughts on the game.

Great blog, I really enjoyed it.

I vastly prefer narrative games over ultra competitive systems like warmachine now. That's why I love age of sigmar so much.
I'll be picking up more Martian Front soon. Working on getting the guys at Iron clad connected to my LGS's game department manager.

Cheers.

Just got my stuff and I'm figuring out how to assemble it all.

I can't find the rules for the "black dust" and green gas" in the rulebook? Is there any reason NOT to give the walkers one of those?

What all tanks can I build and should I build?

I have not been impressed with Green Gas, but Black Smoke Launchers look cool and work great against infantry in trenches/cover.

For some reason they are not in the mini-rulebook but they can be found here: http://aqmf.freeforums.net/thread/71/available-rules-scenarios-battle-reports
