yeah, he did turn out pretty great man, nice work ...nice-sized pics this time too

...hmm, that reminds me though, I've gotta get around to taking new pics of my entry, my current "finished" pics still have the old version of the base

Thanks !

It actually does have a green glaze on it that adds some shadow, but I just cant get a picture big enough to show all the small details :( Dont know why im having such issues this time around.

Hi. Did you use the UHU glue for the gore? I can't find that in my area and was wondering if you used something else.

Yes, I used gel type UHU glue mixed with Tamiya Clear Red.

Probably a good thing that you couldn't get it in a light box, it looks intimidating with the shadows

Soldier0Fortune - thank you very much.

Nordicus - no worries, I agree with King Pariah, even if you can't fully showcase the beast it looks extra menacing half shrouded in shadows like that.

He got stolen in the middle of the previous month (Relic) and his pole is quite badly damaged. Apart from the face, everything is basic single coloured.

Ok so after doing a little more base coating for Karlaen I dropped him and he fell to bit's. However it may have actually been quite fortuitous as I've been able to get a bit more done but doing it in smaller section's.

I've now got the base coats almost done and just a few other bit's to do before I start the washes.

It annoy's me that he has a gold Aquila though as I thought all BA Aquila's were black.

That thing, is awesome ! I agree it looks menacing in the shadows. I'd love to see close ups of all the fine details on it someday, those shoulder pad scrips look very detailed. Nice work !
