I think per planet we get like 20-30 scouts and 10 of them succeed and become marines.

Sounds about right. I posted that we should go to Davin, but making pit stops to get us to full strength is a good idea. I will edit my post to say I will train recruits.

The Luna Wolves/Sons of Horus are beginning to turn, we can pick up some marines from there who are unwilling to turn. We can't stop at planets yet, we need to build up a larger fleet first.

I will have a conversation with Loken at some point that will pick us up several marines and half the Mournival, but Torgaddon will get killed and we will only be able to rescue Loken. We can fix his insanity and get him to marshall remaining loyalist SoH.

Basically we have to raid some forgeworlds (preferably fallen ones) hijack ships from the Chaos legions(While hopefully picking up new marines), or commandeer whatever we can get(civilian ships to be modified).

You do know that Chaos ships aren't a thing yet right? Until after Davin the Chaos forces won't exist, and until after Istvaan there won't be chaos controlled ships. We are just jumping the Chaotic gun
