Marius nods to Mikal, "I agree brother, this betrayal has cut me deep, there is a chance that I may not return from this battle, my spirit is broken and my hearts are failing. Let us go"

The two of them organise the forces and Pyriel joins them, taking point Marius draws Flashfreeze and lopes forwards. The guardsmen and tau behind him run forwards in his wake but something has changed in Marius, the knowlege that Argosh is a traitor lays heavily on him, a sense of calm and stoic fury has overwhelmed him and he moves like a Wolf over the landscape, untireing and at a pace that his smaller allies cannot hope to match.

Mikal puts on a burst of speed that brings him level with the astartes and pleas for Marius to slow, or at least to take him with him, Marius looks down at his friend and battle brother but through his haze sees only anouther potential victim, he shakes his head slowly and sadly, A final Plea from mikal cuts through the fugue of emotion laying over Marius however and he looks at Mikal with fresh eyes. Wolfs should always hunt in packs. Marius had recently lost his other battle brothers to the daemons in the last battle where they had been swamped while Marius was battling, Marius saw them go down with anguish in his eyes.

Marius himself was old enough for his canines to have grown long and his beard to have to be trimmed to fit inside his helmet, but now he takes his helmet free for the first time, and stops dead.

Mikal skids to a halt and looks at the old wolf with uncertainty, the Massive canines and wolfish eyes, pure golden in colour suit the personality of the warrior he knows so well, but the tears streaming down Marius's cheeks make for a shocking revelation at the hidden emotions of the old warrior.

Marius takes his old frost axes, Heimdall and Jourmander and places them on the ground, while the rest of the army catches up, Flashfreeze in his hand.

When they do catch up he looks directly at Pyriel, "Brother, I have not known you long however you remind me of my old battle brother Heimdall, please take the frost axe bearing his name. Use it in the name of the Emperor.

Then looking at Mikal, "Brother, even for Guardsmen you are brave and corageous, and more you have a fighting spirit that i have never seen in a human... other than an Astartes. I will reccomend you for elevation to our ranks if you so wish it and we are both alive at the end of this war, youwill be one of the few to become a Space Wolf, recruited outside of Fenris. But in the Meantime, Take the frost axe which Bears Jourmanders name, he was anouther such as yourself, an old friend and a guardsman who fought in a similar fashion to you. He died in a battle far from his homeworld with few of his friends surviving, i would have you take the weapon, and use it, it is light you will soon find that you can use it even though you are not yet astartes. And the ores used in its construction will serve you well in felling the foes of the Emperor."

Then he looks at the army before him, "All of you, i have fought alongside you for but a short time, we have all made, and lost, good friends in each others company. But be not afraid, as the Emperor protects, we go now to fight against foes not of this realm, of the empyrean warp they come. But we will be triumphant, nothing shall stay our wrath.

Come brothers, one and all, let us fight and be victorious in the Emperors name, PRO TOTUS ABBAAAAAAAS!!!!!!"

For the first time in several weeks, in a very long time, Mikal is moved to emotion by the offer of the weapon. He takes it in his hands, it is heavy but Mikal can feel the power inside it, he feels an overwhelming sense of honor at the gift, he had never held a weapon used by the mighty Astartes, much less had been given the chance to carry it into battle.

Mikal looked up and saw Marius' face, he would know this day for the rest of his life, however long or short, to be the only day he'd ever seen a space marine show any sort of grief or sadness.

As Marius charges off, Mikal turns to the assembled mass of troops, the eldar, the marines, the imperial guard.

"For many long years we have been enemies! Today we are brothers in arms! Let this be the day when the armies of light, allied in one purpose, destroy the darkness of the universe! Let this be the day when we draw swords together, not as sides opposed, but as comrades in arms! A day may come when we forsake our friends and cower in fear of the darkness, but this is not that day! THIS DAY WE FIGHT!"

Mikal raises the axe high, its blade shimmering in the sun. The troops below are stirred by the words and cheer, their hearts being enraged by the fervor of the coming battle. Mikal leads the charge the axe held aloft in both hands.

"IMPERATOR INGLORIAM!!!!" Mikal roars into the wind, the soldiers behind him echoing his battlecry with their own.

Marius's heavy footfalls thunder through the ground, but their echo is as nothing to the horde of warriors at his back, as he crests the ridge he sees the temple befoer him and halts, he feels the army behind him halt, and he turns and without preamble begins to give orders, "Tau, we need you to flank them, pin them down and protect our sides, Eldar, you are the only ones i would no to be able to circle right the way around, Imperials.. Guardsmen, i will need you as a wall of lasfire, when the tau drive them into the open we will need the trap to be ready, and if they try to flee then the Eldar can crush the cowards, Astartes we will move as the hammer, the center of the temple will be our goal, Farseer, I will need you and that precious key with me"

As the group nears the temple, Mikal keys his mic and radios the Imperial fleet, praying to the Emperor that he will get someone helpful.

"This is Captain Mikal on the surface with the strike team, if you can spare any support, I need it here, anything you can give me, we need it now! Soldiers, armor, air support, anything! Send it all, we must not fail today!"

Marius waits paitently with Mikal, "Brother, I will need you with me, If i fall i will entrust my body to Pyriel and yourself..." he still hasnt replaced his helm but now the only emotion visible is rage

[Ah Captain Mikal we do have something you may like, 2 Leman Russ battle tanks ready for combat. We'll deploy them as soon as we can but the skies are crawling with Dark Eldar Craft and the Fleets going to have some difficulty breaking through.]

As Marius,Mikal and Pyrle begin to move into their positions and begin their attack on the temples malicious defenders. Marius and the Eldar Strike team begin to move forward luring the Soul devouring Dark ones out of the shadows and reveling them to the Imperial Gun line
"Open fire!"
The first Dark Eldar Warriors and Craft to appear are simply torn apart in a wave of Las and Pulse fire, few retreat while the others are flanked by the Tau.

I limp back to my Fire Warriors, having seen what Argosh's fate is now.

My Warriors look astonished at me, after watching the fight. They are amazed that I managed to outwit and beat a Space Marine.

"Quick," I say to them. "Get me to the medical area. I need a new arm, as it is too badly hurt, and I need attention for my legs. Hurry! Then we can deal with the Dark Eldar!"

I quickly speak to Marius, Pirle, and Mikal at once.

"The Alseracc is finished," I say, breathing heavily. "I was victorious."

Shas'O ui T'au Kais is given medical attention by the best of the Tau medics on the ship and has several injections of Painkillers and has his legs "repaired".

"Now, we need to destroy the Dark Eldar. Get me my armour, and my battlesuit."

[Its good to hear that my friend, im sorry for my outbust earlier, i believe that somthing was corrupting my mind... i was in a black state, nonetheless we have begun our assault, any aid you could send would be appreciated)

"I will send some Pirahnas with a few more FireWarriors, and some drones. Be on the lookout for them. I am mnow going to try to destroy the Dark Eldar forces."

Mikal smiles at the prospect of some heavy armor. 'Finally some real firepower!' he thinks gladly. He knew he couldn't let anything happen to the transports of that armor.

"Mikal to all ground forces, I've been able to get us some heavy tracks, they should be landing soon, keep up the fire, I don't want to see them get shot down before they land."

A cheer is let out from the assembled crowd as the dark eldar are cut down mercilessly.

"Push the advantage! Advance firing!" Mikal yells blasting at the remaining Dark Eldar with his plasma pistol and waving his men and the other troops onwards.

"Keep up the fire and advance!"

It was then that the skies were wrenched open, through a storm of purple light came the dark eldar skimmers. They soared into the heart of the allied battle line. Wyches plunged into the deafened, disorientated defenders. They fought wite great fury, theiy were high on pain and moved with quiclsilver. Ythiril and his hand picked elite reavers moved along the outside, picking off tau forces unit by unit. Packs of scourges methodically sniped the Marines, under a hail of poisoned barbs, the marines............................................................................. The Dark eldar quickly withdrew from the battlefield as quickly as they attacked. Baiting the beasts forward, too the temple.



(Im not sure what Im fighting so I kept the post vague, How many marines are we talking about? or are the men guardsmen? and do the tau have battlesuits? vehicles?)

"The Dark Eldar are doing something. Don't follow them. I repeat, do not follow."

I hear a reply from one Fire Warrior on the surface.

"But Shas'O, if we follow we can get them."

"Don't, that's an order. I will conduct an attack from up here."

A lone Venom, sped down from the sky. Its night shields making it appear as a glint in the clouds. Its retrofire engines roared into life. The suicidle Haemonculi threw a webway portal into the middle of the battle line. 'Kill them my childred, but make it slow he sceamed as his transport was cut apart in a hail of bolter fire. Towering grotesques burst through the portal. Wracks of syringes dumped potent stimulants into their bloodstream. Mindlessly obedient, they cut into the enemy with no mind of their own. Dozans of wracks followed them, their heavy metal gauntlets cut through the firewarriors, slaughtering them as they went.. Then, buzzing and clicking and bristling with antennae and a carapace the colour of dried blood came a talos.


(Talos pain engine has similar stats too a carnifex, Grotesques are like ogryns, but better and wracks can equal marines in combat and feel no pain, but have crap armour)

More groups of Dark Eldar craft appear from the shadows and begin to deploy the sleek armored Warriors of the Osbiden Rose and begin to sprint along the icy ridges of the Temples main entrance firing splinter rounds at the Imperials and Eldar killing several of them with extreme pain forcing the others to take cover.

"Accursed you will assist the Tau against the Dustwraiths and do not stray from the path, and make sure that you are successful."
Dark Eldar Craft appear again making several strikes against the Tau and Imperials

i nod silently and i send a message to my techpriest if he can take my new shoulder pads and instal them on me then i ask him(in the same message i am typing it ofcourse. XD) if he can install me an binary vox installation in my helmet so i can hardwire it to my head and sent out my thougts when i want to. then i let the brazier servitor burn the open wounds shut to make it a scar and ready myself. ever silent i also sent an message to vulcan hestan if it was allowed to sent messages in this way and the vox way.

(OOC the Dark Eldar ships made strikes against you, they were surprised and theirs more of them. Can you leave then if you can't just except their dead. )
