Lol, I've been banned by forgeworld for years... Ever since I kept posting photos of the 'marvellously cast' skin wolves they kept sending me... Sadly, the ban meant I could never publicly say how good the mini is now its cast properly.

She's also into birds. As "Kim". What a nice happy family that must have been at RF

Like the birds you hear in the background of Kim's phone call?

So, according to that post on the Facebook wall, Stephanie Kimberley Hernandez IS married to Daniel Mandelbaum.

Interesting.

We are absolutely convinced that this is nothing but a coincidence. As it is a coincidence that some "friends" of La Petite Gamine (=LPG from now on) are also absolutely into birds. After all it IS a very common hobby, nothing wrong with that

So A. J., could you please release a statement who was married to who of the previous or current owners of Resin Forge?, thanks

It does not mention any names, does it?

Wait, I thought he was married to a blonde high school chick in another country?

Where does that come from? *confused*

Ok let me get this straight.

LPG Posts on the FW FB Wall and says you banned my husband blah blah. He cannot post blah blah... He's been a good customer blah blah... and according to her FB is well into birds.

fast forward a couple of months and Kimanie takes over the running of RF and leaves a voice mail where birds can be heard clear and distinct in the background and she then posts on RF FB wall that she has taken over has nothing to do with DM and J? and they both left, she will be fronting the company and posting the details soon in a video to put everyone's minds at rest, but the picture she chooses to post with is nothing at all to do with RF or FW or minis in general or even the hobby but is wait for it... Bird related...

I know this is pure speculation but doesn't it seem too coincidental?

I went to GenCon and took five photos.

After I bought a camera, just because I was going to GenCon.

But then... I am notoriously bad about taking photos. (Ask my family, the folks at World Works, my girlfriend....)

The Auld Grump - going by my folder... I am most likely to take photographs of abandoned and derelict buildings.... And then if I am planning on post work....

Don't take this personally, but if you were going to an event like this. You had quite a bit of onus on you to come up with evidence that you were there, and knew you'd be questioned about the trip....would you not take easily verifiable evidence, such as a picture of the gate/banner, or even *gasp* the tickets, with fiancial details blacked out, takes 5 minutes in paint, or you could use a commercial program and actually remove the confidential stuff. If someone claims to have taken easily verifiable photographic evidence, but yet refuses to post them. I find that is very shady.

Maybe, maybe not - cameras just do not come to my mind.

But, then, I do not have a business that needs the evidence. For that... I would have taken photos - heck, I would make snarky photos, with my fellow culprits wearing the faces of dead presidents or the like.

I do think that A J may have been put in an impossible, or near impossible, situation. Like being the spin doctor for Bernard Madoff, though on a smaller scale....

The thing is, RF could have used the excuse they forgot to take a camera, or the battery ran out or something.

It's not likely, what with smartphones and so on, but it would have been far more plausible than the excuse they actually used, which was that every shot they took had their faces in it and they were unable to blur them out with image editing software.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Why should I trust a business run by someone posing as DM's wife at Forge World and posing as someone completely unrelated to DM on their own page?
Why should I trust someone complaining to FW about banning and unfair treatment, while at the same time showing us a dubious FW email how decent customers all private people working for RF are?
Why should I trust someone part of an assumedly illegal business for years, now trying to make it legal?
Why should I prefer harassing phone calls by the new owner to the harassing phone calls by the old owner?

At least the Daniel Mandelbaum team makes it easy to us, when they themselves contradict their many lies, given time.

Daniel used established hobbyists to cover for him when he ran the Miniature Wargame Conversions blog. These were all real people.

I have links to their actual blogs on my home computer, but a few of their aliases were/are:

Lucky No. 5
AridMonk
Redscorps

All of these people have since severed their contacts with Daniel Mandelbaum, mostly in very negative circumstances. If the person now communicating on Daniel's behalf wanted to contact any of them, it'd be easy to verify what I have posted. Again, I can find the links to their blogs / etc if necessary... all are real people, all duped by Daniel Mandelbaum into fronting for him and defending him, just as this new person is doing. I have no doubt they are a real person, and that their connection to Daniel Mandelbaum will end just as it has for all others who put themselves in this position- in tears.

Also, the fact that Daniel is using Stephanie Hernandez, his ex-wife, is nearly identical to how he used his mother-in-law, Susan Beasley. Nothing is new here, the scam is exactly the same as before. Just because there are real people involved means absolutely nothing- just look at his past history.

He clouds this by using real people mixed in with aliases- I have little doubt that "Jason" was, in fact, Daniel. His voicemail recording which Aerethan shared with me matches the voice on the phone from the voicemails I recorded from "Damien". The man is a liar, pure and simple, and anyone who is thinking of working with/for/on his behalf should run as fast as they can in the opposite direction, instead.

Except the whole point of going to the weekender was to have tons of RF direct coverage and news from the event! They went expressly to take pics and show their customers lol, then they ended up only using other peoples photos and did not manage to take a single picture without stephakim and jason in it. It totally makes sense right?

Precisely and well said Ritides. This is nothing new... though I am and will continue to give AJ the benefit of the doubt until I have a reason not to, the patterns are identical. The only thing that has changed is for some reason he is refusing to abandon this company and continues to try and resuscitate it... that is the interesting part.

Your business is being criticized, your reputation is being criticized and your intention to attend a trade fair is being doubted.

So you go to the trade fair, across an ocean, in a plane, to another country... And you don't take any photos?

I am right in that, aren't I? He did say 'I'm going to England to meet up with a few folks who're selling me their Fulgrim models so I can dispel myths about me' and then not provide any photos?

Whilst I understand what others are saying about forgetting to take photos, I find it difficult to rationale a person under so much scrutiny, so vigorously defending their claims, then taking not a single printable picture.

It makes little to no sense at all. You'd take a swathe of pictures and publish them everywhere to make your critics eat humble pie...

Again MGS, they specifially 'went' to provide coverage of the event, promising pics and updates the whole way through, and very strongly trumpeting it for some time after Mandelbaum was outted. There is no room for debate as to whether or not they said they were going in a journalistic type capacity to provide blow by blow coverage for the FB audience.

There is no 'maybe they didn't feel like taking pics', because that is in fact a large part of the mission they supposedly had in going in the first place. That and picking up unlimited Fulgrims of course.

Just for clarity, and to highlight why we're asking quite pertinent questions to AJ, here's two little snippets from RF's facebook page (which BT, even a complete technophobe like me managed to highlight / block certain parts for privacy and clarity):

And then one where they insist that THEY are in attendance:

So, AJ, Kim needs to PROVE this please - as she went with Jason, where is the evidence?

Umm, but IIRC the Heresy weekender wasn't at GWHQ, it was at a hotel (also in Nottingham).

The fact that all of their pics are someone else's has been a commonly reiterated point here. So, that's no real shock. : )
