I didn't get much opportunity to work on my Blood Engine sculpt, but I'm happy with how it's looking and coming along.

I decided I would give picture updates on all my 40k armies at the end of March, so I'm currently trying to squeeze in a few more models for some of the armies, so they have something fresh, and won't just be re-posts.

I just have a few more things to paint on the Dark Angels sergeant.

One army that hasn't changed in close to a decade is my imperial guard. I guess other things felt more interesting after painting a blob of 100 infantry. I still need to go back and finish those foamcore Valkyries. Many of those six unusual heavy weapons models have broken since I made them. Here is my custom Imperial guard force from the planet Sanctus Glaciem Caminus.

My kids have been making me loose a lot of sleep, so I didn't have the energy to get everything up in March as planned.

My Tyranids are made up of a Tyranid Prime, 2 Zoanthropes, 13 Genestealers, 24 Termagants, 15 Ripper Swarms, and 20 spore mines.

My Ultramarines are made up of A captain in terminator armor, a librarian in terminator armor, an apothecary, 8 Tactical Marines, 5 Sternguard Veterans, and 5 Terminators.

My Iron Hands are made up of a captain with powerfist, a dreadnought, 5 terminators, and a 10 man tactical squad. It is my smallest painted army that can play a 500 point game.

I have 24 tactical marines, 10 terminators, and a dreadnought that painted but not part of a large enough force to be considered one of my armies, yet.

Thank you for stopping by. I still have my Dark Angels, Orks, and Chaos to post. I'll try to get that up soon, but I'm also close to finishing some models for each force.

Ello mate I'm sorry to hear your little humans are draining thine power reserves. I hear they are good at that. Along with financial and food reserves too

Liking the group shots! I'd love to do that myself, perhaps I will if I ever get to a point where I feel The Pile has been dented enough!

That Blood Engine is coming on really well. I liked the naval game you put on, such a novelty for ypunglings to get to play these games! I played Man O'War once and enjoyed it.

Thanks, Ragsta. You are so right about my little ones draining financial and food reserves, I feel like I go grocery shopping every day, now Thank you also about the group shots and Blood Engine. I would enjoy seeing your group shots if you post them. Blood Engine is nearly done.

I'm very close to completing the Blood Engine. Bandages are now on. I just need to make one tube, and make the steam backpack, and it will be ready for molding.

My Chaos forces are a strange collection, which I guess is fitting. Most of my CSM aren't quite finished yet, so my force is smaller than I expected. I also haven't painted any HQs except for a Nurgle daemon prince.
In total I have: Daemon prince of Nurgle, herald of Nurgle, 3 chaos vindicator tanks, 2 helbrutes, 6 chaos space marines, 1 possessed/spawn, and 20 cultists.

Triple Valkyries, that's awesome, and foamcore ones too, even better, what a neat little army. If you give it some love, more power to you.

Also triple vindicator - they look great lined up together; that's a ton of firepower.

I've also been thinking along these lines in terms of army building recently: keeping it simple, multiples of the same unit. In my case it's 'cos modern 40k can be a heavy rules load and I need to make it slightly lighter for myself if i want to join in and have fun with my friends that play seriously.

Mostly, on my phone.

I'm loving the tanky nonsense! Brilliant.

@PaddyMick: Thanks PaddyMick If you would like a better look at the vindicators, they are from page 14 of my blog.
As long as you like a unit, it makes sense to have multiples, especially if GW still has units unbalanced for their points cost. For me, I dream of playing big apocalypse games. 6th edition apocalypse had a lot of formations in multiples of 3 or more for bonuses, which is why I have 3 of those tanks and 100 infantry. I plan to eventually print and paint 10 Leman Russ tanks for another formation
@inmygravenimage: Thanks Graven
