I personally really prefer Shatterpoint but its a very weird and different game for sure. Legion is a much more traditional wargame with a lot of clever mechanics though and I totally get the broader appeal.

Funny enough before AMG took over I really felt like Legion was the more limited of the two. It was just really limited in the kind of units that could successfully function. I need to give it another try as it seems like AMG's update has really made armies more varied and open to a wider variety of characters.

I still think I overall prefer SP for how much focus it puts on playing the scenario over the army. The odd result of this is I really don't need much to enjoy it. Probably far less than I already have.
