I think it mainly has to do with the fumes from the plastic, glue, rivets, and airbrush thinner. Or we could just be a rare breed in and of itself.

Might be last call there, but we have a few more hours here. Plus if the wife didn't care I could cross over to east St. Louis (in Illinois), the bars over there are open all night, you just have to put up with all the rude topless women that come and sit on your lap. May I present, the new LOGO UCS "Red Five" X-Wing Fighter







This thing is fething huge! But a really FUN build! If I can dig up a 3 3/4" Luke Skywalker Pilot figure, he'd fit in the cockpit no problem, even though the minifig-scale R2-D2 is included in the kit.

I like that robot guy and the R2-D2. Not really into it, but SW has some nice robots and ships.

Oh That's General Grievous, not their best kit ever, but a decent representation. The only thing they could have done better IMHO is to add landing gear so it could sit on a flat surface. As-is it's only meant to fit on the flight stand, which is really well designed, supports the rear-heaviness of the model. The big knob you see on the back cranks open the S-Foils, and it's a MUCH better design than the rubber-band mechanism of the minifig-scale X-Wing has.

Awesome shot. Love the x wing, and the rest of the Lego sets. Nice collection of black library books as well. I've boxed mine up as last I heard they are not going to do the mmpb like they said and still schilling everyone for more money with hardbacks.
