Offering a full set of females sitting is a tall order. It definitely couldn't be free... would make a nice upgrade sprue, though.

I feel we have been very lucky with this KS, and maybe we have begun to ask a bit too much of Mark's credit? I certainly wouldn't see much of a difference in a sit-down version of the armour if a few were "males" but with female torsos.

Personally I would like a mix of male and female snipers.

They're not quite snipers, but rather tank hunters. So the big gun goes plenty of boom when fired.

Since it's plastic, should be easy to convert some male tank hunters and vice versa

Hmm, then maybe I should stop whispering my secret prayers for Mark to make an Eisenkern tank?

Maybe.

I think it would be cooler if tanks were given over to another faction, like the Protectorate. They shun walkers, after all.

A full range does not come about in a single year!

Maybe I have been misunderstood.

I was not asking for free, I was not asking for "now", I was giving him the idea of - at sometime in the future - offering seated females to go in the APCs to represent Black widows or mixed sex units. (I would also be in for making my Eisenkern forces mixed).

I wanted to know if they would be available later, would it just be legs, or would it be a female version of the male seated troops we were getting with the APCs.

I have no problem with paying extra, or waiting longer, just so I know what I am doing. I am going to add a set of Black Widows into my pledge anyway, and IF Mark had come back with "It's do-able at some point in the future, sometime next year, for about what I could have charged for the seated males, and will be a full upgrade sprue as the males are." then I'd have been on cloud 9.

I think Mark has done an amazing job on this KS, he has shown certain other companies what "Customer Service" actually means with the way he has listened to his backers and taken it on board during the KS. The last thing I would want is for him to think he was being forced into something which maybe would stretch him too far.

This is why I would think it better to leave tanks for another time. Presumably the Shadokesh will be next to get a release, and I look forward to finding out what their releases will be, then maybe the Protectorate and the tanks rather than walkers.

For this quality, I am preparred to wait a long time as I know Mark had done a good job of keeping us in the loop so far, and am confident he will continue to do so.

It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." Ahh I misunderstood you as well. I can only speak to what is planned and I will try to fit one to two seated legs into the Black Widow set. Each mold had a limited amount of space and costs many thousands of dollars, so it is a balancing act. Is the space better spent on making sure they have enough weapons to work with the male ST? Likely so... I doubt very much that there will be a seated only leg set for all ten Black Widows, I just cannot see the investment paying for its self.

Any resemblance of this post to written English is purely coincidental.

Just a thought, but would you ever consider partnering with one of the various bits manufacturers out there to make licensed Iron Core odds and ends like that? It would be cheaper than having to make a full plastic sprue and you could just send them a file of the seated model and they could get it 3D printed and cast up. Or they could make some weapons that would fit the models, but that could be used to represent options found in other systems. It would be a way to expand the usefulness of the models without having to extend yourself any further and it would be another means of marketing them as well as a (probably small) revenue source for you with little to no risk or effort.

Well, it was supposed to be last week, but as long as the stuff isn't shipped to the Americas, they can afford to wait a little bit and make sure everything is squared away.

I don’t have a lot to update right now.
Last week was a Chinese holiday; everything shuts down while the entire country takes eight days off.
We have been pushing forward on the pledge manager. I expected us to have it up and running last Thursday, then Friday, then Saturday now?.... I know we are getting close because we are running out of areas that the software can affect but I still do not have an exact day, obviously the sooner the better.
I have been working overtime trying to get the box art completed for all Stage 1 and 2 kits, to provide them with enough time to get the boxes done ahead of production. We should have a lot of images for an update next week but this week is a bit sparse.
That’s about it… I will post news when there is news to post

You're welcome

The impression I got from the fluff was that Eisenkern use the Leviathan walkers as their armor, while it directly says that the Protectorate uses actual tanks.

Maybe, but the fluff also makes it clear that Leviathans must be extremely expensive:

Independent households often barter away vast planetary resources to acquire a Crusader

Emphasis mine on the "vast."

Eisenkern uses this Leviathan as a powerful bartering chit with the Brotherhood. Tithing ten per year to the order, they have managed to make themselves indispensable.

And giving them only ten per year makes Eisenkern "indispensable." I'm sure Eisenkern would use tanks, especially since they can't have so many Leviathans everywhere to fill the tank's role in combat in all engagements.

@ Dreamforge,

Are you planning on fleshing out the Shadokesh with a miniatures range? I missed the KS and sadly missed the Kesh and Handlers ( I would have bought a ton of them..=( )

I love the look of that model set sooo much.. Is it too late to get in on some level?

Also, the Dhar-Hazier is the armored one leashing the Shadokesh, right? Are they getting a minis line?

Thanks!

@thunderfrog

Both the models in the pic are shadokesh. The one on the leash is feral, and the one in armor is the more advanced bad@$$. It looks like he will be developing the shadokesh next. Max you coul get of the pair was 5sets. Pm me if your interested, I'll be maxing out my order cause I know others might want them.

Still waiting to finalize my order, but as long as nose goblin is designing stuff I'll wait impatiently.....you done yet?

Fun indeed, but only if you don't use IE, apparently.

Selecting "None" on leviathan pledges calls up and "Illegal selection" error as IE 'autocorrects' the data for these. The problem has been advised to them and they are working on it, but as I only have IE I can't complete my pledge at the moment. Firefox and Chrome are unaffected.

Or is Mark rtying to push more Leviathan sales by making sure that you have to order at least a single 28mm Crusader, a 28mm Mortis, and a 15mm on every pledge?

I had exactly the same problem, downloaded firefox and retried and it went without a hitch- now just for the hard part- the waiting

Although it seems I spoke too soon, the credit card processor declined to process my card (there was a very brief failure message and then the confirmation screen popped up)
So even if you have the confirmation screen/e-mail don't be too surprised if WGF contact you telling you the payment hasn't been processed.

Looks like its an IE9 issue? I know he has the error code so at least he knows where to look to fix it.
